I have last-minute plans tonight and I'm trying to put dressy outfit together. My options are pretty limited at the moment because a) I've lost weight (yay) and the only dress pants I have that fit are navy straight-leg trousers and b) I'm nursing a knee injury so I have to stick with flats (I have a navy ballet slipper type shoe or gray tweed mary janes). I have a 3/4 sleeve cardigan that's an orangey-fuchsia shade that looks really pretty next to the navy, but I'm not sure what color shirt to wear under the cardigan. I have fitted t-shirts in just about every color imaginable, but no dress shirts that fit properly. What would look best? Purse suggestions would be great, too. Thanks!
