Lose Weight As You Get Older - Ezine Articles

No offense to Clair, but please disregard her answer. A healthy weight depends on the height, gender and frame (bone) size of the person. Since you're so tall, you naturally have to weigh more than someone whose shorter than you. Please check out the link I've put in source(s) for more information. :)
Second, forget about that number. It's all about health here. Sometimes, becoming too focused on the number you see on the scale can definitely depress you, I know this from experience. What helped me is focusing on health and trying to feel more comfortable within my body. When you focus on the discomfort and worry you feel within your own skin, you will want to change as quickly as possible. This will result in little patience and little room for mistakes, and that's no way to live! Although I want to lose weight for health, appreciating myself and my body allows me to be easy going about getting healthy, opposed to the sadness and frustration that I used to feel.
