How to Set Weight Loss Goals

Recommended Answer:

Heey, kid. Look, before I start this, just know that I'm not being one of those people who go on and on about 'oh, that's way too unhealthy' or 'you'd die doing that.' Trust me. I've been struggling with weight loss for years, and those people annoy me too. I'm not exactly the pinnacle of healthy weight loss anyways. But seriously, it's extremely doubtful that you could do this. In a month, anyways. You'd literally have to have the absolute minimum calories every single day, as well as exercise a whole heap. And you'd inevitably give in one day, binge on all the food because you're so hungry, and gain back any progress you'd made. Trust me. I've been there.Try take it slow. I know it's frustrating, geeze, but it'll end up with better results. I'm not saying go ridiculously slow or anything, but just..lower your expectations.Alsoo, I reckon getting down to 40 kilos is too low. Try going to 45kilos. That's about where I'm headed, and you're the same height as me too, and close to my age.Aaaas for actually doing it - You're gonna need to start drinking a fair amount of water. Forget any other drinks, water's where it's at now. No empty calories, and it helps flush your system out. Try and minimize the amount of white carbs you have, and if you can, eliminate chocolate and sweets, and junk food in general. You're gonna wanna exercise a fair amount - try swimming and running, but you need to include strength exercises in your workouts as well. More muscle means more fat burning - though keep in mind that muscle does weigh more than fat. Also, I've read recently that spinning in circles like a little kid helps with weight loss, as does taking short cold showers. I'm going to link to the article I read that in in the source bit below. There's some other tips in there that are great as well.Sorry for the long answer, but I hope that helps a bit. :) It's not often my years of googling get put to the test. xD Also, feel free to email me if you want any more advice or anything - sephyxoxo@gmail.com

  • I had to lose 20 pounds before my daughter's wedding, had to. I was dieting, exercising and still nothing helped. I read about Raspberry Ketone Premium, and that was the magic bullet I needed. I got down to the size I wanted and was proud to stand at my daughter's side with all our family and friends watching.

What else should I do to lose weight?

I'm trying to lose weight before school starts and I was wondering if any of the exercises I'm doing is helping at all. I just turned 17 a few months ago, my height is around 5 ft, and I weight 224.8lbsFirst, I'll jog in place for 15 minutes; once that is done, I'd do 200 arm rotations forward and backwards. Then I'd do 100 squats, and after that I'd do 50 crunches. Is there something else I need to add to my routine? And, I heard that you need to eat healthy, but the thing is, my family don't have much money. Everyone, but me (which is about to change), are working and bring money home, but we use mostly all of it to pay bills and car notes. My family can't buy anything healthy, or go to the gym, so we mostly eat fast food. We are all, besides my dad, overweight. When eating chicken, I usually get a thigh and a leg; when eating pizza, I usually get three slices; and when eating hot dogs, sandwiches, or burritos, I usually get two. What should I change in this eating habit? And I never go outside. I'm always in my room either watching TV or on my phone, or both. Last time I went to get my check up, my vitamin D level was 13. I'm thinking about sitting outside for a few hours and reading some books I got so I could get some sunlight, is this a good plan? My house has this little roof above the porch that blocks the Sun, but the sunlight still hits the edges; should I sit in the shades on the porch or on the edges of the porch where the Sun shines on?I also drink mostly water. I have this big water bottle and I refill it all the time whenever it gets empty. I've been doing this since last year in March after I had my GallBladder removed. Will my drinking lots of water 24/7 help in any way? Please and thank you for answering! :)

How to Prevent Hair Loss When Losing Weight

Recommended Answer:

Well the exercise is fine but in stead of jogging in place you need to jog up the block to get different climates to put your body through. I used to run laps around my block everyday for 3 months and lost up to 40lbs. Eat less. Only 1 or 2 pieses of pizza, 1 burrito, 1 sandwhich. 2 hot dogs i think are fine and drink plenty of water and maybe cranberry juice

  • Hi Lady A,You're instincts are right, most people underestimate the value of proper nutrition to help them reach their fitness goals. There's an article below with some foods that are healthy that might surprise you.But the more important question you raised is, can you afford them?I included this source because there's a video at the bottom of the page from a holistic nutritionist who answers that very question. You're not the only one who feels that way. :)Add a brisk walk to your routine. It won't tire you out so that you can't do the rest of your workout, it will give you a little sun, and it's slow enough so that you have time to appreciate the beauty that's all around you.Hope this helps A

How does it feel to lose 25 lbs and look good once the weight loss is complete?

I know it takes weight training to lose this much weight and look good instead of flabby. I just want to know how it feels when one has completed this spectacular goal. Any personal experiences or stories out there? I start training on Monday.

How to Lose Weight If You Are in a Wheelchair

You don't even have to wait until you have lost all your desired weight. You will feel better from the first week. Enjoy it. I lost about that amount some years ago and enjoyed going out shopping for clothes that fitted and enjoyed people saying how good I looked.
