Women have certain areas on their bodies that absorb more fat, those are in 90% of cases the triceps, thighs and love handles. Those areas are very hard to lean out. It takes a combination of right diet and workout to lose this fat.The diet is pretty obvious, no carbs, or bad fats.. you can find all the information you need perhaps on bodybuilding.com. But, there's no big trick, just eat natural food. For the workout you first need to do cardio. Cardio gets your heartbeat high and blood better flowing. And when your blood gets to flow faster, so does the fat go away faster.Maybe getting a membership to a gym would be a good idea, so you can do triceps workouts. Lifting weights (And like men, don't listen to magazines telling you to lifts one pound dumbbells for 3 years, it won't do anything. Start from the weight your comfortable with, and increase it when you feel that the weights you've been lifting have become easier for you.) Basic triceps workouts that you can find on the internet will work. And this workouts won't get you big and manly, they will just tone up your muscles in a sexy feminine way. It's not that easy to get heavy and muscular ;)Also, getting a membership to the gym helps the motivation.

How can I make my lower body thinner?

I'm about 5'0"-5'1" and I weight 107 pounds so I'm at a healthy, normal weight, but my lower body looks a little big and I feel uncomfortable about it (and being this short doesn't help). People have always told me I have an hourglass figure, but it looks like due to my unhealthy lifestyle this last years I've put more weight and it went to my hips and thighs. It's not like they're only bigger; the cellulite in my butt and inner thighs are very noticeable and it looks ugly and unhealthy, and I'm only 17.I know I can't lose weight only in an specific part of my body, but I was wondering what could I do to make my lower body smaller (not muscular, though), I don't really care If I lose a bit of weight in my upper body too. I don't really want to go on a diet because I know that I'll probably put the weight back. I want to eat healthy and stuff, but I also want to be able to eat some sweets, chocolate or junk food once in a while. I don't want to be super skinny, just slim and look healthier. I would appreciate any suggestions c:

How to Lose Weight Properly

Wow...you're really short. You should stop the yoga. That's bad for your body. I can't speak to the exercise because you didn't say what you do. And, starting eating less is good as long as you're eating a good and proper diet. If you keep all that up, you'll lose fat assuming you're over 15% body fat. You should not be trying to lose fat if you're at 15% or less. Buy some calipers, learn how to use them, and measure your body fat. The less fat you have, the slower will be your loss rate. You're probably just too anxious. Or, you may to too lean already and have body image issues. It's hard to know because you didn't type your correct height and left out your age.It is possible you just have big (thick, muscular) legs. And, if so, you can't change that.We are all 99% nature (genetics) and 1% nurture (changeable). Here is what we can do to sculpt our bodies.1. Add fat - Adding fat for all but the extreme ectomorph is a simple matter of eating too many calories over a long period of time. We have no control over where the fat will be deposited on our body.2. Lose fat - Fat loss must begin with diet. Exercise can help but no exercise can make someone lose fat if they eat too many calories. We have no control over where the fat leaves our body.3. Add muscle - Adding muscle size requires a commitment to very hard strength training (anaerobics). We don't get big muscles from aerobic ("cardio") exercise. It only comes very slowly from working out against substantial resistance.4. Lose muscle - There is no healthy way to lose natural (genetic) muscle. We can, however, allow our muscles to atrophy or grow smaller by not using them. We can also "waste" muscle by starving them of nutrition. These, of course, are not a healthy options but they are the only way to make lean muscle smaller (less volume). That's it. That's all we can do without surgery. How should I attempt to lose weight?

Ok, so I am a large-framed seventeen year old girl who should weigh 160 pounds. The last time I weighed myself, I was 240, but, I have lost something around ten pounds since then. I have been avoiding eating any sugary snacks at all, sticking to diet soda and salty snacks to quench my thirst and hunger. I have been putting off dinner for as long as possible, eating dinner at about five to eight 'o clock each evening. I've been exercising every day for at LEAST forty minutes and sometimes up to two and a half hours -mostly pacing and dancing and things of that nature, very fast-paced. I have seen some fairly fast results, losing that ten or so pounds mentioned earlier, but, I want to have a second or third opinion. I've never really gone on a full-fledged diet before and I thought it would be good to simply ask if what I'm doing is effective. Also, as a side note, I've had weight problems my whole life as well as a perpetually low metabolism.

How to Lose Weight by Walking

I think you're on the right track. Good for you for trying to be healthy and lose weight.Make sure your diet includes lots of fruits and veggies. Many people feel tired whilst trying to lose weight, but the right foods will give you lots of energy. They will also provide you with many nutrients, helping your body to function, and make you feel full so you won't be so likely to snack or binge. Try to aim for 5 serving of fruits and veggies a day. Also make sure you get plenty of lean protein. Try to cut back on salty, sugary and fatty snacks.Your exercise regimen is good. It is important to do fun forms of activity, as you will likely continue them. If you can, I would try to incorporate some more intense cardiovascular activity, such as jogging or swimming laps. as it will be more effective at burning fat. I like to attend exercise classes because I find I can go much harder when someone else is pushing me rather than just myself! Also be sure to drink lots of water. Your doing a great job and I hope you reach your weight-loss goal!

  • Don't drink diet soda first of all, any soda if possible. Diet is huge but everyone gets bored so maybe like once a week or so and gradually cutting back allow yourself a cheat day. Better than falling off the wagon and having to restart the diet. Exercise is the most important thing, keep doing it and get in a routine. Avoid excess carbs. Also eating late at night isn't particularly a good thing, ideally you should eat sooner and many smaller meals throughout the day. Breakfast should be your biggest meal with a variety of nutrients to help your body burn fat effectively throughout the day. Just google different work out routines and which muscles you want to work on and you should do well. You have the will thats the main thing, the next step is sticking with a routine, the the results will come to you. Good luck!PS: Diet pills and things you see on the TV should be avoided more than those diet sodas. Scams and placebos and nothing but.

How to Lose Weight Really Fast in 3 Easy Steps

Recommended Answer:
It seems that you are underweight due to a high metabolism, puberty as well as a mildly active lifestyle. In order to help you gain weight permanently to be healthy, I suggest you look into eating a high calorie diet many times a day, sleep well and do the right workout in order to help you to grow. Your diet plan currently is good in terms of frequency, but I think they lack substance.

a high calorie diet needs to consists of at least 55-60% carbohydrates. As a rule of thumb, let your plate decide how much food you are taking. 60% is slightly more than half so aim for that same amount on your plate be it in the form of potatoes, pasta, noodles, biscuits, bread or rice. Eating 6 hearty meals of this will help you to gain the weight you need faster compared to simply eating3 meals. Lastly, if you need help on how to get the habit to eat 6 times a day or find it difficult to make 6 meals a day, I suggest you look into drinking 500ml of milk in between your meal 3 times a day for the extra meals you need. Increase the amount by 100ml until you see the 1 pound weight gain on the scale. Only then should you focus on getting your sleep and workout right while maintaining the same calorie that helped you to gain 1 pound this week.

Next, sleep is the 2nd step to proper gains. This is usually the deciding factor that separates the committed to the interested. Most people can train hard and eat well but when it comes to making a 8 or more hours slot to get their sleep, that usually does not happen. It is not only about the number of hours of sleep only, but also how sound do you sleep. If possible, try sleeping and waking up all by yourself everyday so that you have absolutely no distractions that jerk you out of your bed. This means that your body will be fully recharged, fully repaired and growing to help you gain the weight and you need.

The last thing that most skinny people get wrong is also workout. Most people who come across friends who asked them for advice if they are looking to gain weight often said that not doing anything will help you to gain the weight you need. It maybe true for people with a slow metabolism rate but it is totally untrue for us. This is because when you cease to be active, your body will break down the muscles in your body as well as the fat in order to lighten its load. The fact is that what you do not use your body destroy. Also, if you are simply focusing on eating and sleep to help you to gain weight, it is highly unlikely because a poor day of diet or sleep will cause your body to break down the excess calories you have been trying so hard to put on, causing you to lose even more weight than you put on. I suggest looking to http://gohforth.com for a workout that will help to be the trigger to help you to gain weight.

  • Only advice i can give is always drink a lot of water, water is very important in weight control
  • Eat fast food and do nothing all day.
  • drink alot of water, eat more (healthy food)
  • You have a fast metabolism.
I have exactly the same problem. No matter how much I eat (and I do eat a lot) I can never put on weight and this has been an issue for me my whole life. When you have a fast metabolism you burn fat in your body a lot faster, which makes it harder for you to put on weight. A healthy BMI is 18.5 and whenever I work out my BMI I am always 18.3, but that''s just the way I am built. As long as you are healthy and happy in your body then that''s all that matters. Genes have a big part to play as if a lot of people in your family are slim then you will most likely be slim. It is important though that while you may look healthy and nice & slim on the outside you still have to eat healthy, exercise, drink lots of water and take care of your body as on the inside your body needs to be healthy too.

You can''t help the way you are built and as long as you are healthy & comfortable in your own skin then that''s all that matters. If you are really worried then talk to your doctor about it, but there''s nothing you can do. It''s all fine, and natural. Just be happy and embrace it. Good luck xoxo
  • Okay, get a empty notebook. And even though this may sound really boring. Your going to have to track your calories. Make sure you have the same amount or close to the same amount of calories everyday. Also make sure you have a bit of all the food groups in your meals. ( Grains, Dairy, Fruit & Vegetables, and Meat and Alliterative. Also it doesn''t hurt to add some snacks in between your meals.

    Hope this helped!

    Good Luck! :)
  • When ur... skinny u dont really have anything on the internet that shows you how to put on weight. dont worry about. if ur not harming urself on purpose, then enjoy the skinnyness.

    This has happened to me. im lazy and when i sit down, dont expect me to get up easily. My friends always wonder how i do it. I eat so much fattie food im personally sort of scared the fattie food will catch up with me when i hit 30 ;-;
  • Like the other person said, start tracking your calories. Try signing up for a website or app called My fitness pal. It''s a much easier way to track calories and how much calories you''re burning through exercise.
Try eating foods high in good fats, like natural peanut butter or avocado. I don''t think you''re losing weight from your exercise so you''re either not eating as much as you think or you aren''t eating balanced meals.

Which is safer? Adderall or ephedrine?

Please only answer the question at hand, lectures will be ignored.

I've been suffering with EDNOS for 3 years, and have major binge/purge tendencies. I find I cannot restrict my eating, I either eat nothing, which I find myself able to do for up to 5 days, or I eat everything in sight and then purge. I overeat even if I have not been starving beforehand and am not hungry, so it is not due to hunger. I am of normal weight (female, 6'0 tall, around 145 lbs although this varies depending on my eating, or lack of).

I find the only way I have been able to eat normally is by taking adderall or ephedrine and then planning my meals. I have done my absolute best over the previous years to follow healthy eating plans, but without the use of either of these drugs, I simply haven't found the willpower. Something in my head just takes over me.

Obviously I do not want to become dependent on drugs, so I simply want to take one or the other for a few weeks to try and break my eating habits. However, I want to know, if there is a difference, which one is safer in terms of likelihood of addiction and damage to the body? (I don't think I could do much more damage to my body with these drugs than I have with my eating - I have lost my period, find myself weak and feel faint most of the time, my muscle tone has become incredibly weak, I find myself unable to concentrate, have become very depressed, etc)

Please no suggestions about going into treatment. I am an A* grade A level student with hopes of going to Oxford and do not feel as if I can afford to disrupt my studies. Thank you.
I am not attempting to brag about my 'credentials', I am simply explaining why I do not feel that going into treatment is an option.

You may be an "A" level student with hopes of getting into Oxford, but you obviously have not caught on to the facts that:
a. You are attempting to trade one body-damaging addiction for another
b. You are not going to be able to break the cycle of addiction without professional help. Eating disorders are notoriously difficult to treat with professional help, much less trying to go it alone by self-medicating.

Sorry if you interpret advice that you are seeking as a lecture, but I don't see the point of answering "either/or" questions that give me a choice between "should I kill myself with a bullet or by hanging" as serving any purpose either.

How to use protein powder ?

I am 14 soon turning 15, 5'0 . I am skinny, and I really don't eat right . I'm not anorexic or anything like that, but I do need the protein . I want to get fit, and I heard that protein shakes will help me build muscle. I know I need to workout, but is there any other extra information? If I ever do gain weight, it's usually on my stomach,So would this help my gain weight on my lower body? Any other things that I should consider taking ? Thank you in advanced.

How to Burn Fat Without Losing Weight

Recommended Answer:
Protein shakes should only be taken in the morning and after your workout. Besides that two timing, it is practically useless. If you are looking to gain weight and build muscle, the idea is to eat a high calorie diet on top of your protein shake, sleep well and do the right workout to ensure that you get the steady gains you need.

I would suggest eating a high calorie diet instead of one filled with fat is because your body only requires a certain amount of fat which you can possibly get from the excess calories from your carbohydrate. I also do not suggest so much protein as a fuel source as it leaves behind nitrates which can be put your kidneys and liver under unnecessary stress. I would suggest eating things like potatoes, biscuits, pasta, noodles, rice and bread in order to get the high calorie diet from carbohydrates. If fixing 6 meals up can be a problem due to the lack of time or if you are looking for something more convenient, I would suggest looking to drink 500ml of milk in between your meal for a total of 3 times a day. Increase the amount of milk you drink by 100ml for each serving every week if you realize that you do not gain weight after a week of effort.

The next thing to get right is definitely sleep even before exercise. This is because even if you have the best workout and you get improper rest or insufficient amount of it, chances are this will cause you to lose weight and fall sick. One particular fact most people do not get right is definitely quality. Quality sleep means you need to sleep and wake up all by yourself. This can be difficult but I will still encourage you to do it on the weekend if possible and sleep the scheduled amount of hours on the weekdays when you are busy.

The workout is the main trigger to help you gain weight. This is done by using the workout at http://gohforth.com which I have seen many of my clients used and see effective results. The result of gaining 1 pound every week is quite possible as this workout will help you to trigger major muscles and help with progressive weight gain with little to no down time.

  • protein shakes are only good for quick emergency protein meal. Always get your protein from actual food. Unless you are busy and have no time than shakes are okay.
  • Don't listen to the posts saying protein from whole food is superior. Whey and Casein Protein are complete proteins with a Protein Digestibility Corrected Amino Acid Score's of 1.00, the top of the scale.

Aim for 1lb of protein per pound of bodyweight. So if you weight 150lbs, then eat 150g protein per day.

Other great sources of protein include eggs and lean meats, but within an already micronutrient dense diet, protein shakes are optimal.
