How to Set a Weekly Weight Loss Goal

Recommended Answer:

Yes, it works quite well with losing weight. I've been taking it for a couple of months and it has been working wonders for my body. It also works as a detox so it cleans out all the excess waste on your is stomach. There is a reason behind why the supplement is quite famous these days.

Other Answers:

  • No, you need to reduce your calorie intake or exercise more. Pills won't 'flush' away fat or anything else they claim.
  • I have been on the product for a 1 1/2 weeks with a weight gain of 4-5 lbs somewhere in the first week. I did feel smaller in my stomach area.

How to Set Weight Loss Goals

I don't know how tall you are, so I don't know what an ideal weight for you would be. If you are an athlete you might be a little more muscular and heavier than others your height. To lose fat you must restrict your carbohydrate intake, get a cardio workout daily if possible, your total calorie intake needs to be less than you burn (no matter what the type of food it is), and it is best not to eat for a couple hours before bed.

  • Find a free online program where you can enter in what you eat and keep track of your calories sodium vitamins and so on. these type of programs you can usually enter in you height, weight, age, and goal weight and it calculates your allotted calories and such to help you achieve your goal weight! So just keep exercising regularly and maybe join a gym where you can have access to a trainer to help you with a work out program! Hope this helps!!

how can I lose weight easily?

I think i'm pretty healthy, except I want a flatter belly. on more than one occasion, I have been asked if I was pregnant(and i'm not.) i'm between the ages of 12-15. I've been trying to work out but it doesn't do anything to help. i'd like to be able to have a nicer body, a flat stomach. i'm about 5'4, maybe an inch or so taller, I don't really know. I've tried to eat healthy, I really have, but my family honestly doesn't really try. we get lots of soda(i'm trying to quit drinking it) and chips and other unhealthy snacks. I've tried to get them to buy more healthy stuff but they really don't listen, I guess. please help me?

How to Lose Weight With Gluten Free Foods

I'm done with my weight loss journey and completely happy with how I feel and how I look right now however losing weight is a challenge for anyone and even losing 5 pounds and keeping it off isn't an easy task. Also I bet you didn't know that 5 pounds of fat is about the size of 8 cheese burgers? That alone should be enough to make anyone want to get on the ball and start a change for the better. Weight loss can be really easy to learn but the problem is nobody wants to put the required effort that is needed to actually do it, instead people continually look for (easy) ways to do it. If there was an easy way to lose weight I don't think 35% of Americans would be obese. There was a time when I also wanted to lose weight and was tired of starting diets only to lose motivation and give up just a few weeks later after seeing no results. However, let me tell you it is literally one of the easiest things you will ever learn once you find a good and reputable place to learn it from and I say that only because the world is filled with magic diet pills, liquid flush diets and a thousand other quick fixes that promise xx pounds of weight loss in the first week and even though it is impossible they know you're going to do it because your desperate. I have probably tried every diet pill, liquid flush diet, and ab rocket machine known to man and have had no success with any of them nor do I know anyone that has ever had any success with them. I have also tried starving myself which works very well for the first few weeks' right before your metabolism comes to a complete stop and eating just the tiny bit makes you gain weight and you end up weighing more than you did before you started starving yourself. Companies promote weight loss to make money not to get people healthy again and that's because they know you're not going to be a customer and buy their products if you're no longer fat. http://fatloossfactor.com is a site I want you to go to when you have 10 or 20 minutes to spare and I want you to sit down and watch his video on weight loss. He helps people every day to lose weight I have never seen someone as committed as him and that will go so far out of his way to help someone. His weight loss program is one of the best I have ever had the enjoyment of doing and it is without doubt the best success I have ever had with any weight loss program. I also couldn't be happier with my body right now and I have never felt this wonderful in my whole life. In the end you just got to remember to stick with it and stay confident in yourself and in no time you can achieve the results you have always wanted. It's not hard to lose weight but most people have a hard time staying motivated and 9 times out of 10 it was because they weren't really committed from the beginning. Anyways I hope I helped you and I hope you make the commitment to change your body and life. Remember it's not easy to take the first step but you did, you're here right now taking it and the rest of the steps will fall into place. Have a wonderful day.

What weight is medically considered "underweight" for my height?

My mom is on me all of the time about eating because I have had a past of Anorexia Nervosa. My weight is dropping and she suspects that I'm up to no good again (which is not true!). I want to show her that I can still be the weight I am and not be medically considered underweight.I am 5'2.5" and weigh 105 pounds. That puts my BMI at around 19.What weight would put me at medically underweight? (Because right now I am at average weight.)**READ PLEASE: I do not have Anorexia Nervosa and am not planning on doing anything with the information I receive besides showing my mother. This is not encouraging any form of eating disorder. I'm just curious and trying to prove a point. Thanks!(:

How to Lose Weight After 50

From my experience, you're on the very, very low side of a healthy weight for your height. 102 pounds would make you underweight, so you're almost there.. What are you doing that your weight is dropping? You shouldn't be losing, if anything, you could definitely gain a few pounds. I can't help you with much more because I don't know how you're eating now, but just be careful.

Other Answers:

  • your weights normal
  • The target weight for your height is 127 pounds. 85% of that is 108 pounds. You are indeed underweight. Please talk to your care team rather than insisting that you do not have an ED.

Lose Weight For Free Fast And The Foods That Help You Lose Weight

I agree with D. The key is to do both together to achieve the curves you need or else you will risk gaining fat deposits in areas you do not need. I would suggest looking to eat a high calorie diet, sleeping well and doing the right workout to help you gain mass and weight in those spots.

Most people think that they are eating a lot and come to the conclusion that something else is needed to fix it. The key thing to getting a high calorie diet is to eat more times rather than eat more each meal. Take for instance a buffet. How much food can you actually force down your system in a buffet compared to 3 or even 6 hearty meals that are spread throughout the day. I was appalled when I realized that we are subconsciously able to consume more calories if we eat 6 full meals a day compared to a single buffet seating, particularly in the carbohydrate section which is the key ingredient to help you to gain weight. This includes eating a lot of potatoes, pasta, noodles, bread, biscuit and rice 6 times a day spread 2-3 hours apart for maximum carbohydrate loading and energy replenishment. Due to the high metabolism, your body needs to constantly absorb carbohydrates to use it as a source of energy or it will find it elsewhere, particularly in breaking down muscles, ceasing some unimportant bodily function as well as burning fat. If preparing 6 meals a day is either an inconvenience or a hassle, I suggest you look to drink 500ml of milk 3 times a day in between your meal and increase that amount by 100ml. Once you have seen at least a 1 pound weight gain on the scale, you are ready for step two which is sleep.

Sleep is a highly underrated activity but speak to any athlete and bodybuilder and they will tell you that is what keeps your body weight stable or even help you to gain weight properly. This is because sleep prevents you from falling sick easily, thus preventing weight loss. One more thing that good quality sleep does is to prevent a situation where you burn more calories to stay awake, thus utilizing the needed energy for weight gain rather than keeping you alert. A good quality sleep consists of 2 parts, quantity and quality. Quantity depends on individual and you find that out by sleeping and waking up all by yourself without being disturbed at all. Quality refers to REM sleep or the best form of sleep where your mind drifts off to dreams and produces a consistent rhythm of repairing and resting your body efficiently. This causes you to be more alert, energetic and healthy without the addition of caffeine, vitamin tablets or other enhancement. If you can do this properly, then you are ready for the trigger that will promise consistent gains and that is by doing the right workout.

The problem with utilizing a weight gain regime with only sleep and diet is that if you cease to do so, your body weight will plummet, causing all the efforts you put in to be in vain. The key is to cause your body to grow and exercise is the right way. However, most workouts are either used to help big people become bulky or big people to become skinny, rarely the other way around. If you are looking for a regime that will help you to gain weight, I suggest you go to http://gohforth.com for that workout regime. I chanced upon it in my time in the army and it helped me to gain weight efficiently and now is also benefiting those who join my gym to do the same goal. I hope you find the same success and I hope that I was there to help you refine it even more.

  • Correction you would need to do ab workouts while you gained weight.. not afterwards

How many mph should I walk and how long for thin thighs and bum?

I want really slim thighs. What else should I do? I already eat pretty healthy

Weight Loss - Are You Fighting With Yourself to Lose Weight?

Recommended Answer:
Walking is going to reduce thighs very much. Better to go biking, hiking, jogging, play tennis, badminton, baseball. A non-fat diet helps, too. A good plan would be:

Breakfast: low fat milk on cooked 9-grain cereal (from health food store), mixed with cooked oatmeal and wheat bran. Add some nuts and berries. Drink hot Ovaltine.

Lunch: Egg, tuna or turkey sandwich on whole grain bread with bean or alfalfa sprouts and yogurt w/fruit. If you had meat loaf for dinner, bring a meat loaf sandwich (NO mayo). On cold days, a squatty thermos of hot chili, split peas with ham or beef stew.

Snacks: Fresh (not canned) fruit: banana, orange, apple, kiwi, grapes, peach, nectarine, cherries, pineapple. No chips and nothing ever from a vending machine.

Dinner: salad with white meat chicken and fresh (not canned) veggies: tomatoes, 2 kinds of lettuce, 2 kinds of shredded cabbage, shredded or sliced carrots, alfalfa or bean sprouts, zucchini, hard boiled eggs, brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, tofu, cottage cheese...Instead of dressing, squeeze 1/4 tomato over it.

Or homemade bean/vegetable soups; great way to recycle leftovers.

Or omelet: In blender, whip together eggs, tofu, cottage cheese, onions, garlic powder. Cook with mushrooms, chopped tomatoes.

Foods to avoid: junk food, pastries, desserts, sugar, salty foods, syrup (even canned fruit in syrup), peanut butter, fatty/greasy foods (pork, wieners, chops, bacon, salami, pizza), pasta, potatoes, white bread, rice, canned veggies, ice cream, fast food, soda, chips. And of course no tobacco or alcohol in any form. Both of those add wrinkles and destroy your brain. No oil except olive and mac nut. Coffee also rots your brain.

To keep your skin clear, drink water. Veg. juice is good too. But not canned juice (too much sugar.)

Join a gym; they have all the equipment and staff to show you how to use it to get the look you want to achieve. Much cheaper than buying your own equipment.

If you lack energy to exercise, take stress B vitamins.
To lose weight, try an appetite suppressant

  • The most important exercise you can do for a toned body is the Frequent Fork Drop, but you may already be doing that.
  • If you have enough will power become a vegan. If you don''t, just cut out fat foods and snacks. Also for walking, run instead at like 10-15 mph somewhere in that range but pace yourself and I''d run about a couple miles a day with breaks in between every couple of minutes (like every 5-7 minutes)
  • There is no such thing as spot reducing. To lose weight you need to burn more calories than you consume, period. You will lose weight everywhere.

You can tone these muscles by doing exercises that concentrate on these areas.
  • Walk 4mph, which translates into a fast walk.

Im hungry but I can''t eat?

It''s like 11:25 pm here, and I''m up because I''m so hungry.
I''ve recently (three days ago) given up meat and I plan to stick to it.
I''m also on a diet but I eat three meals a day and I drink plenty of water. Advice? How do I make the hunger go away?

Why Had I Stopped Losing Weight?

Recommended Answer:
Well, your body is hungry, so you make the hunger go away by eating something. Oh, you;ve used up your daily calories on your previous meals? You''ll need to make a change then. If you''re trying to lose weight, start eating more calorie un-dense foods such as vegetables...and dust.

Try not to think, "Oh this pudding cup/muffin fits into my calorie limits." instead think, "Has sugar. No thank you *falcon punch*".

  • Problem right there when on diet eating three meals is why you ate hungry. They say you should eat 5 small meals. Breakfast , snack, lunch, snack and dinner. I do insanity and been loosing 1-2 pounds a week

Help mee ! i''m too skinny :(?

Make it Fun to Lose Weight Naturally and Healthily!

If you are looking to gain weight, you will need to eat a high calorie diet that surpass your puberty demands, your high metabolism rate as well as your activity level. Also, you will need to do the right workout and sleep well to get the gains you need. However, all of it starts with your foundation and that is diet.

I would suggest eating a high calorie diet instead of one filled with fat is because your body only requires a certain amount of fat which you can possibly get from the excess calories from your carbohydrate. I also do not suggest so much protein as a fuel source as it leaves behind nitrates which can be put your kidneys and liver under unnecessary stress. I would suggest eating things like potatoes, biscuits, pasta, noodles, rice and bread in order to get the high calorie diet from carbohydrates. If fixing 6 meals up can be a problem due to the lack of time or if you are looking for something more convenient, I would suggest looking to drink 500ml of milk in between your meal for a total of 3 times a day. Increase the amount of milk you drink by 100ml for each serving every week if you realize that you do not gain weight after a week of effort.

The next thing to get right is definitely sleep even before exercise. This is because even if you have the best workout and you get improper rest or insufficient amount of it, chances are this will cause you to lose weight and fall sick. One particular fact most people do not get right is definitely quality. Quality sleep means you need to sleep and wake up all by yourself. This can be difficult but I will still encourage you to do it on the weekend if possible and sleep the scheduled amount of hours on the weekdays when you are busy.

The workout is the main trigger to help you gain weight. This is done by using the workout at http://gohforth.com which I have seen many of my clients used and see effective results. The result of gaining 1 pound every week is quite possible as this workout will help you to trigger major muscles and help with progressive weight gain with little to no down time.

  • easy... just search in the internet

How can I get ripped? What food should I eat?

I''m 125 lbs and 14 yrs old and 5''6. I want to gain more muscle and shred some fat to get stronger for basketball season. Any suggestions?

Desperate to Lose Weight Quickly? Not For Long

Recommended Answer:
You can''t gain muscle and lose fat at the same time. Do a few months of bulking (eating an excess amount of calories usually around 2900+) and doing weight training (heavy weights + 6-12 reps). You''ll also need protiens and carbs etc (eat clean food. You may need to Google this term). Doing this will put some muscle on your body and possible a little fat.
When you feel you''ve gained a decent amount of muscle you should then start you''re shredding. Eat a calorie deffesit (2500-2300) and eat plenty of protien and continue weight training. The last thing you want is to lose your muscle and strength gains.
Go on long runs, do cardio training. That burns alot of fat. My favourite workout is a 5k/h walk up a %15 angle while on the treadmill. Also circut training ia very useful. Do low weight high rep and high set workouts. They''ll get you toned and shreeded brah.

You should aim to workout 3minimum and 5 maximum times a week unless you are mixing cardio and weight training together only on different days then i''d say you could do 6 days a week of working out.
Do specific things on different days for example on monday train chest and tricep. On Wednesday train back and bicep, on Thursday Train Legs, and on Saturday do shoulders and forearm, bicep and tricep.

You also may need to be fast as its basketball, so i recommend doing sprint interval training. So like 25meter sprints and 10meter jog and so on.

Before even taking my advice you should speak to a couch about weights as they''re not recommended until the age of 16 as they''re known to be risky around your age.

Anyway, good luck

  • Invest in some steroids
  • High calorie and startch foods
