Easiest way for teen girls to lose weight?

We are 15 and 14, and we want to lose atleast 20 pounds before summer, we will exercise, but we dont have enough time to exercise more than an hour a day, and we are bad eaters, is there any way we could eat better without starving ourselves and just eating salad? HELP US, WE WANT BIKINIS. :D

- and yes, there is 2 of us.
-our parents wont get us gym memberships.

Eat healthy and exercise. Do some resistance training along with cardio. But the most important thing is to EAT BETTER. There''s no way you''re going to get the bikini body you guys want without eating healthy. Don''t eat just salad, that''s the worst thing you could do to yourself and a terrible myth. Eat a round meal of carbs, vitamins and minerals (salad part), and protein. Don''t worry, girls don''t get "buff" by lifting weights or doing resistance training. There''s a function in the female hormone that suppresses muscle gaining, so you won''t get buff but you''ll get toned. If you don''t have more than an hour, commit a few days to cardio, then the other days to resistance. But if you don''t mind me asking, what do girls that are 14, 15 have that keeps them so busy they only have 1 hour?...Just a question.

  • gym class, i used to run one mile 4 days a week and 2 miles on wednesdays and kept myself skinny through high school, if you cant get a gym membership run around your neighborhood with your friend (or dog or someone, since its too unsafe now a days)

I had some problems with "you know what" so it was recommended I try a herbal remedy (a.k.a laxative tea, smooth move). Anyways I was NOT trying to loose weight with it, so please so speeches about that. However, when I recently stepped on the scale I noticed a significant drop. So anyways I did some research and found that laxative tea won''t help with real weight loss, but will only make you loose water weight. Knowing this I measured myself and I saw actually changes (deductions) in my figure all over. I haven''t changed anything about my diet and exercise so I am confused on how I lost all this weight.   • Since your young as long as your active then exercise is not an problem. You need to watch what your eating, DO NOT EAT FAST FOOD, fast food is empty calories and will only hurt you in the end. If your serious about it then ask your mom to make you more meals with much more vegetables in it. It may not taste good but will help your body and your weight loss. Also eat more chicken, not fried or kfc but lean white skinless chicken breast and lean beef. This will help your muscles grow and recover faster. Don't drink soda at all, limit the amount of juices you drink also. You should be pretty much be only drinking water, your body needs a lot of it. Don't serve yourself big portions, eat until your not hungry, don't eat to get full. This should be all you need to lose weight at a young age. Yesterday I ate 3100 calories from a binge. I need to practice planning my cheat days because I easily lose control but I was wondering if a low calorie day (today I had 1250), helps with the day after a binge. I usually eat 1200, by the way.

Well what I usually do is go straight back onto the amount i eat a day (1800 for me as a guy). Spreading it out seems to help loads too.
Be careful though if you're only eating 1200, your body may think it's starving and lower your metabolic rate massively so if you're trying to lose weight or become healthy i'd suggest at least a 200 calorie increase.
And try not to go for cheat days too often, remember it's all psychological and if you've lowered your calories for every day and then eat loads of excess calories on another, you've set yourself back 1, 2 or three days worth of hard training.

  • The reason you probably binge is because your calorie intake is too low to start with. If you are trying to lose weight, stick to around 1500 calories.
