How to Lose Weight Fast by Drinking Water

No. Calorie counting is good, but keep in mind the difference simple carbs/sugars can cause your body to produce insulin, and that will make you store those sugar/simple carbs as fat (as well as stimulate appetite). Eating protein or fat (hopefully the 'good' fat) will be more filling, be more satiating, not cause an insulin response, and if you ever did any exercise, be beneficial (protein anyway). If you work-out or exercise, try doing it on an empty stomach (no food for two+ hours). Then afterwards, take in protein about 10 to 20 minutes later. That lets your body breakdown your older cells from exercise, and then the protein you give yourself will help your body rebuild its muscles (stronger and larger hopefully) to be ready for the next exercise lesson. That's how it works.Don't worry if you're a female and worried about being manly. That would take a hell of a lot of exercise that you would go way past losing any fat to come near. You'd just tone yourself to the max first.

Other Answers:

  • No, doughnuts and junk contain a lot more fat then healthy foods.
  • Unless you're one of those blessed with a high metabolism and no weight gain, you'd gain weight. Junk food have alot more fat and sugar, less fiber or protein, more starchy carbs. Therefore the calories aren't the same as the calories in fruits, veggies, whole grain. If you're working out and eating mostly healthy, squeezing in something junky every now and then maybe once a week wouldn't hurt for maintaining that weight.

I am looking to lose some belly fat, if I do these exercises with a good diet, can I achieve my goal?

I'm not necessarily looking to loose weight, just belly fat. Here is my daily exercise, In the morning, 50 Cross Crunches and Two minutes of lifting my legs 3 inches off of the ground. I do that morning exercise along with a couple sets of jumping jacks, jump rope, and a good diet. I am an 18 husky. I am looking to be an 18 regular.

It should work haha just use a good food diet, if you want use a site called my fitness pal, put the food you eat and how much excersize every day and it will tell you if you are on the right track or not, here is the site http://www.myfitnesspal.com/

Other Answers:

  • I think it is important to do 40 minutes or more of exercise which reasonably challenges your cardiovascular system. You should consult a professional fitness associate, a doctor, a dietitian or all of of the above about your goals.
  • Sounds like a good start, but don't overdue it. You should gradually build up your exercise routine. Eating sensibly will also help with adequate amounts of fruits, veggies, meat and drink adequate amounts of water daily. Try also going to www.ehow.com and www.doctoroz.com and search the site for adequate diets and exercise routines for your targeted area. Good luck!
  • Sounds good to me. Keep it up and soon your belly fat will be gone. Remember, you did not get the fat overnight, so it won't go away overnight.

Will I lose weight on these foods alone?

I am not overweight but I would like to lose a little anyway. I don't eat meat, fish or dairy, and I am avoiding carbs. Are the following foods "safe" to eat? Will I lose weight if my diet consists of only the following ---Vegetables: broccoli, bean sprouts, cucumber, lettuce, mushroom, peppers, tomatos, baby cornFruit: lychees, plums, raspberries, apples, pearsProtein: soya pieces, saitan I would have added nuts in there but according to some articles I read they are packed with calories and should be avoided on a low carb diet. If there are any things you would remove/add to the list, please tell me. Other advice or tips are also appreciated! Thanks.

If you're avoiding carbs then you're going about it the wrong way by eating lychees, plums, apples & pears. They're packed with sugar.I'd honestly go with the nuts. It's because they are packed with calories that they are good for you on a low carb diet. If you're on a low carb diet you need to get your calories from non-carb sources and nuts are fabulous. You could also eat a couple of avocados each day. These would be especially important since you don't eat meat, fish or dairy. The other thing to do is to get plenty of coconut oil in your diet. It aids fat burning and is very healthy for you. You should especially use it for frying your vegetables.

  • Fat loss occurs when you consume fewer calories than you burn...you could eat nothing but candy bars and "lose weight" as long as you were burning more calories than you consumed (it just wouldn't be healthy)...With that in mind, ALWAYS eat a well balanced diet...carbs are FINE but you should focus on complex carbs and not simple carbs (avoid "white" food...things made with white flour, white sugar, white rice, etc)...eat whole grain products, sweet potatos, brown rice, etc)...Nuts are fine...they are protein and healthy fat...just consume in moderation because they can be high in calories (for example 1 oz, approx. 24 nuts, of almonds is 160 calories)...You need a well balanced, healthy diet (avoid processed foods and added sodium) and be active...that's the way to fat loss or weight maintenance...and good health...
