Why do I lose 5 lbs in a week just by NOT drinking soda?

I'm a guy, and I never care much about what I eat. I'm a size 33 waist, and I'm happy that way.I love soda! But sometimes I stop drinking soda for a few days, I simply don't feel like it.Every time I stop drinking soda for a week, I lose 5 lbs.I could easily lose more weight, if I wanted, but I feel just being a size 33. I don't feel a need to be a size 32 or less.I do wonder. What is it about soda? Why do I lose weight so quickly just for not drinking it.

Soda is horrible for you. Phase out of it slowly and then stop altogether. You are losing weight because you are no longer drinking all that sugar!Just cut out all the soft drinks. And don't switch to diet soda. It's poison.
