What food is best for my dog?

He is a 1 year old Pomeranian and I just started noticing he was gaining a bit of weight (I do walk him atleast 1-3 miles a day about 5 days a week) and so I read his food ingredients and it has 32% protein and 18% fat which I think is making him gain weight! By the way it's taste of the wild roasted fowl. We just switched to this flavor which is higher in fat I just noticed. Anyways of course my other dog is under weight so I don't want to buy a low fat food for her. What is another food I should go with that has less fat?

How to Lose Weight Fast by Drinking Water

Recommended Answer:

Just feed him a little less at each meal and give him no treats until he loses the weight. Taste of the wild is a really good food, there's no need to switch. Most low fat foods have a lot of grains in them which are Completely undigestible to dogs.

Other Answers:

  • Give your dog regular healthy food like veggies that dogs can eat because my aunt her dogs were sick because she fed them dog food tht was not good and so she just changed their diet and now they are healthy
  • What's his current weight? Do you weigh him regularly to see if he's gaining a couple pounds each month? or was it a sudden weight gain? Adding green beans to their meal can help them feel fuller, longer. A can of green beans mashed up or sliced in bits and add to their food.
  • Just feed the overweight dog less and the skinny dog more. No need for special foods.
