Next, check your BMI, about 21/2 lbs to an inch of height is almost perfect, so if that's what you are, you may just want to rearrange the weight distribution. Next, were you a fat baby? If so, your body has developed fat storage cells which will expand and contract according to what you eat and how much energy you burn. Eat healthy, as much as possible. Maintaining a balanced diet is important, so don't go on binges too often. Exercise according to your calorie intake and do more to burn off excess calories. Some people have a faster or slower metabolic rate, so the amount of exercise will differ from body to body. Shape and tone your muscles to emphasize the parts of your body you want to appear better developed. Swimming helps slim the waist, bicycling is good for the legs, weightlifting is good for arms and shoulders, and walking generally is good for most of the body. Check with a physical education instructor or personal trainer for specific exercises to attain what you want. Drink plenty of water and try to avoid caffeinated drinks. Soda is generally not too good for you, but it does have its uses.
