Is it possible to lose FAT (not weight) if you eat nothing but fast food?

Like if I fulfilled all my macro nutrient needs by eating nothing but Wendy's burgers but still stayed 500-700 calories under my BMR while lifting heavily 3 days a week, would I lose FAT? Again, I'm concerned about losing fat, not general weight. And of course, I don't plan on actually doing this plan. It's just a hypothetical question. I'm curious because all my friends who worked at fast food restaurants in high school (and ate mostly fast food) all stayed pretty lean. Thanks!Yes, this person would be lifting heavily (3-5 rep range) 3 non-consecutive days a week while eating 500-700 under their BMR while still fulfilling their daily macro nutrient needs.

How to Lose Weight Fast at the Gym

Recommended Answer:

sure, as long as you eating less calories than you are burning each day you will lose weight.Whether you lose muscle in addition to fat depends on how little you are eating and how much you are physically active.

Other Answers:

  • They stayed lean from eating that because they were in high school, meaning they are young and their metabolism hasn't caught up to them yet. No, you can't lose fat from eating that crap.
