How to Detox Your Body and Lose Weight at The Same Time

Recommended Answer:

I do find myself hungrier as a vegan, yes, but that just means I eat more foods fortified with protein and eat more often. Although I'm eating more now than I did as a meat-eater, I've actually watched my weight drop drastically. Tofu is very healthy to consume 2-3 times a week. I eat tofu pretty much every day and I am very fit and healthy, according to my doctor.

Other Answers:

  • Tofu is healthy, I eat it at least five times a week. No vegan should be hungry maybe your not eating enough. Fill up on fruit, vegetables and cereal, if your hungry eat until you are full just eat healthy food. I am never hungry, I eat until I am full, your body tells you when to stop.
  • After I became vegan, I did find myself eating more often. My weight remained healthy, however, Starchy vegetables and sugary fruits are very low in calories, and you may need to eat more to maintain your weight. For instance, a medium potato only has 100 calories, and a large peach only has 86 calories. By going to a nutrition data website, you can look up the calorie, protein, and vitamin/mineral content of the foods that you eat. One such website is www.nutritiondata.com .
