Are some people not meant to be thin?

I'm 18 and a male, for the past 4 years I've gone on and off diets and work out routines, with 0 pounds lost, I eat well, do some cardio, run a little, lift a little, all that good stuff, but nothing. Then i turn around and look at my ( no offence ) lazy azz friend who can wolf down an entire pizza BY HIM SELF like shaggy from scooby doo and not gain a dam thing. What the crap, Explain to me how that works. Can I just never be thin or what? On a side note what food makes your face fat?

If so, your body has developed fat storage cells which will expand and contract according to what you eat and how much energy you burn. Eat healthy, as much as possible. Maintaining a balanced diet is important, so don't go on binges too often. Exercise according to your calorie intake and do more to burn off excess calories. Some people have a faster or slower metabolic rate, so the amount of exercise will differ from body to body. Shape and tone your muscles to emphasize the parts of your body you want to appear better developed. Swimming helps slim the waist, bicycling is good for the legs, weightlifting is good for arms and shoulders, and walking generally is good for most of the body. Check with a physical education instructor or personal trainer for specific exercises to attain what you want. Drink plenty of water and try to avoid caffeinated drinks. Soda is generally not too good for you, but it does have its uses. Good luck, and remember, repetition is actually better than short spurts of high energy--lifting ten pounds a hundred times is better for your endurance and musculature than lifting 100 lbs ten times.

How long until I see results from jogging?

Hello! I am a 17 year old girl. I am 5 feet 1 and 122 pounds. I know I'm not exactly overweight, but I am getting chubby so I want to lose weight. I used to walk, but I felt as though it wasn't really helping so starting Saturday I started jogging 2 miles every day (1 mile in the morning before breakfast, 1 mile at night before dinner). . I am also eating healthier (breakfast: cheerios with sliced apples, lunch: spinach salad, snack: banana, dinner: w/e my mother cooks in moderation. i'm asian but I'm not eating as much rice anymore lol )I was wondering how long it will take to see changes in my body. I feel as though jogging has given me a harder stomach. I can feel my lower ab muscles being used when I'm jogging, and my stomach is pretty flat/hard. The problem is my thighs are big.Please give me advice about eating/ exercise! thank you =)ive also been doing squats and tricep exercise videos released by blogilates =)

you r right, your not fat, but just a bit chunky.keep jogging, it will come your see results already, right? as faras your legs, you can actually get bulky doing that. you would better, doing leg lifts, front sid back. do some pelvic thrust, on you back, shoulders on the ground knees uo feet on the ground and lifting your butt off, pelvis going up, makes sense/ you can google it. lol also fire hire, leg lifts, those HURT!!!! but they work. doing this kind of leg work will tone you with out bulking. squats, your building, cuz your lifting 122 lbs with your thighs!! that builds muscles. youve got a great work out going so keep it up.. your better off doing reps, some leg lifts, with only 10-20 lbs ( or none) on them with lots of rep. that wont build bulk. rather than weight and and shorter lift time. as far as food goes, cut back ,earn what a PROPER serving size really is. you said your eating less rice, thats good.but if you learn how to count calories,m and learn what serving really is, you will see even MORE results. a cup of rice is about 200 cals , and alot of carbs. ask your mom to use less oil in her cooking for the vegies and meats your putting on your rice. 1 table spoon of oil is 100 cals. ti all adds up. idont even bother coutning carbs, if you just keep your cals under 1200 you willl keep losing weight. 800 if you want to lose even faster, but you cant stay at that intake for very long. walking does work and it works great. if you walk 4MPH you burn 400 cals, that 4 miles in 1 hour, thats only a 15 min. mile times 4. if you can find a good hill carry a back back with some weight in it, youll burn more. i odnt hwy, but bananas arent he best for snacking on. if you love the out door,, dont know where you live, but find a hiking club, if youve got some hill mountains, I live in washington state, hiking is the BEST!!! going up and down you use all you body mmucles, even your tummy. plus you get to be outdoors away from cars/noise. you those cals just seem to STICK! lol theres only about 100 cals in banana, and apple has 80, but they burn quicker, go figure. ive dont it all. im 56 5ft 7 and weigh 120, im lucking when i gain 10 lbs, you ca see it, but i still feel it. i like being lightm it just feelbetter more energy, i move easier too. a serving of cereal isnt just a bowl full. a serving of cereal is about 3/4-1 cup, and is about 100 calsuntil you add the milk. 2 eggs white scrambles is only 40 cals, and ALL protein, 2 reg scrambled eggs is 160 cals, protien and fat. 2 tablespoon of peanut butter is 200 cals, same as butter.. so learn your proper portions think about increasing your milage by walking or jogging. 2 miles isnt very much, you really need to go by time, not miles.understand? you should be SO proud of yourself, for deciding to do this!, i dont even know you but im proud of you. youve piked some great things to do. just a few tweaks and i think youll see more results.a slo remember muscle weighs more than fat. so has your building muscles, you wight may not be droppin like you think. go by the fell and size of your clothing. you rlothes should be etting a bit loser.   • You should start to feel better and more confident about yourself just after 1 week. Though significant physical changes will only start to occur when you have stuck to it consistently for 4 weeks. After that, I would just recommend maybe running 1.5 mile every time you go out running. This slight increase at the 4 week point will make better results and it isn't much tougher running 1.5 mile than 1 mile. Great diet though so well done!

I'm anorexic so I hope anything I might say might not be my disorder talking but. firstly I lost 15 pounds in 2 months. which is insane. what I did was I cut out ALL junk food or unhealthy stuff. Drink little to no milk, because milk will just make your hormones act up. plus while you're doing this your skin will clear up. Also no cheese. make you get around 800 calories, I usually eat that amount, and nothing more then 1000 or less then 500. Also drink 10 glasses of water a day. AND!! Hmm.. never eat after 6. BUT if you wanna be healthier have 5 SMALL meals literally if you put your 2 fist together you should eat that amount each meal. But each meal should only be 100-250 calories. Now that we got all the healthy eating. we need to work out. Do 100-200 crunches everyday (not at once but in total) 100 squats 100 push-up will burn 1000 calories. Run every morning for 2 miles/km or however many you can.
