Will I lose weight quickly if I do the exercise bike 3 times a day?

I'm a 16 year old girl, and I weight about 118 - 120 pounds (It changes when I wake up, eat, exercise, and poo and all). I'm 5.1 ft tall, and my waist measurement is about 28 inches. The thing is, if you see me in clothes, you wouldn't say at all that I'm fat, but if you see me naked, then you'll see that I have a little bit of a stomach and somewhat big butt and thigh. Not extremely though. My goal is to lose at LEAST, AT LEAST. 10 - 15 pounds for now. Then I'll see how my body looks and see if I'll have to continue. The thing is, I've always eaten healthy for my whole life, thanks to my wonderful mother :). As for exercise, I've got enough to keep my weight. However, ever since grade 9 started, I've been sitting down, doing homework a lot more, and doing less of going out and working out. And due to added stress from school and my life during that year, I've been eating more. And yes, I do need a lot of healthy food, but from time to time I'll sometimes go to the cafeteria and buy stuff :s. However, this summer, I've been eating more vegetables and fruits, eating less carbs (But enough to give me enough health and energy), and sitting down less, and sleeping more. I'm now on the bike at least 3 hours a day (One hour before lunch, before dinner, an hour after a short break from dinner). I also do a bit of leg ups, and I do hula hoop once in a while. I try to eat short meals, and then eat an fruit or drink water or 2% milk in between them. I sleep at 10 pm, and wake up at abut 7 or 8 am. Also, at eating, I'll try not to sit down until an hour as passed, because I heard somewhere that sitting or sleeping right after eating makes it easy for you to gain weight. I'll help do the dishes, or walk around, or stuff like that. Is this good enough? Or do you have any suggestions? Please tell me if so, Remember, my target is to slim down my butt and my legs, and to slim my stomach just a bit. Thanks!

How to Use Free Weights to Lose Weight

Recommended Answer:

I'm done with my weight loss journey and completely happy with how I feel and how I look right now however losing weight is a challenge for anyone and even losing 5 pounds and keeping it off isn't an easy task. Also I bet you didn't know that 5 pounds of fat is about the size of 8 cheese burgers? That alone should be enough to make anyone want to get on the ball and start a change for the better. Weight loss can be really easy to learn but the problem is nobody wants to put the required effort that is needed to actually do it, instead people continually look for (easy) ways to do it. If there was an easy way to lose weight I don't think 35% of Americans would be obese. There was a time when I also wanted to lose weight and was tired of starting diets only to lose motivation and give up just a few weeks later after seeing no results. However, let me tell you it is literally one of the easiest things you will ever learn once you find a good and reputable place to learn it from and I say that only because the world is filled with magic diet pills, liquid flush diets and a thousand other quick fixes that promise xx pounds of weight loss in the first week and even though it is impossible they know you're going to do it because your desperate. I have probably tried every diet pill, liquid flush diet, and ab rocket machine known to man and have had no success with any of them nor do I know anyone that has ever had any success with them. I have also tried starving myself which works very well for the first few weeks' right before your metabolism comes to a complete stop and eating just the tiny bit makes you gain weight and you end up weighing more than you did before you started starving yourself. Companies promote weight loss to make money not to get people healthy again and that's because they know you're not going to be a customer and buy their products if you're no longer fat. http://fatlosssfactorr.com is a site I want you to go to when you have 10 or 20 minutes to spare and I want you to sit down and watch his video on weight loss. He helps people every day to lose weight I have never seen someone as committed as him and that will go so far out of his way to help someone. His weight loss program is one of the best I have ever had the enjoyment of doing and it is without doubt the best success I have ever had with any weight loss program. I also couldn't be happier with my body right now and I have never felt this wonderful in my whole life. In the end you just got to remember to stick with it and stay confident in yourself and in no time you can achieve the results you have always wanted. It's not hard to lose weight but most people have a hard time staying motivated and 9 times out of 10 it was because they weren't really committed from the beginning. Anyways I hope I helped you and I hope you make the commitment to change your body and life. Remember it's not easy to take the first step but you did, you're here right now taking it and the rest of the steps will fall into place. Have a wonderful day.

  • Although cardio is good, what would help you look good naked is to do toning excercises. This helps me a lot:-50 squats (this gets your heart rate up as if you were jogging) -25 crunches-plank for 1 minSide plank for 1 min. (Do each side)-25 lunges & repeat this twice more. If you can't handle doing it twice more then do it once more. That takes me about 35 minutes a day to do with resting a minute in between each workout. Oh and drink tons of water if you do workout, it'll help your muscle stay hydrated and will help you not be so sore!
  • You can try going to the gym for the treadmill to slim down your legs. And you should also do lots of stretching exercises! Stretching is one of the best ways to train your flexibility and makes your stomach more stronger. Also, you might also want to go swimming, because it uses every part of your muscle. It is also very good for your body!!! You are very committed! Keep up with the good work!!
  • Try power walking or swimming for the tummy area, Good Luck
