If I drank bottled grapefruit juice, would it have the same effect as eating actual grapefruits?

I've heard of grapefruits having something in them that spurs weight loss so I have 2 bottles of OceanSpray's 100% Pink Grapefruit Juice from concentrate. It already says it has 17 grams of sugar in it so should I add more to dull the sourness? I want weight loss results fast and I've been doing a quick 5 minute excersize routine with my mom before chores but I'm worried about the sugar in it. Will the juice give me the same results as if I had eaten real grapefruits? Thanks in advance :)

How to Lose Weight Without Eating Healthy

Recommended Answer:

Nonononono!Juice has none of the fibre of an actual grapefruit, so it's basically like drinking pure sugar.Adding more sugar would make it worse.Sugar makes you fat. Conclusion: juice is unhealthy. Fruit is healthy.
