ideas for losing weight?

Hi I'm 16 year old guy and I weigh about 12 stone which is overweight for my age, I'm actually quite tall so that adds a little extra weight but anyway, I don't really look fat in clothes, like you couldn't tell unless I took my shirt off but I have that little belly fat that everyone hates and is really hard to get rid of. I kind of want to lose as much weight as possible until I am happy. I just wanted some ideas for dieting meals that aren't to extreme and exercises and things I could do, I have a bike, skateboard, longboard (currently don't have skateboard or longboard available) and pretty big garden. I don't really like much when it comes to healthy stuff but some things I do like are: apples, pears, bananas, pineapple juice, peas and broccoli. I'm sure there are other things I can try but I want a good healthy diet without it being 100% healthy stuff. What type of cardio exercises and stuff can I do at home to help burn fat and increase muscle? Thanks in advance if anyone can help. :)

How to Reduce Body Fat Without Losing Weight

So I was reading a post by Shaun T (famous dude who created a bunch of workout programs on TV n stuff), and he discussed something on how to successfully eat healthy.Take a piece of paper, make a line down the middle, and on one side, write all the healthy foods you enjoy. On te other side, write the foods you like to eat but aren't healthy.Eat 80% from the healthy side and 20% from the other side.I believe this is a good simple beginning approach to dieting so you can eat healthy without feeling deprived. It doesn't mean you stuff everything and anything in your mouth, it means you enjoy treats in moderaSHAUN.as for the exercise, if you don't have a gym, you can always go out for a bike ride outside. As long as you are pushing yourself and breaking a sweat, you're burning calories. Try to do it as often as you'd like- I'd try at least every other day. As long as you're enjoying it :)

  • I'm too tired now to write it all out but if you email me at sam.hegxx@yahoo.ie , I'll give you all the advice you need. I recently finished a 12 week weightloss programme and lost a stone. I was given not a diet ( don't call it that ) ... it's just changing your eating habits for life. A diet is more of changing what you eat drastically and then you end up giving up. I also did exercise twice a week!
