how to loose stomach fat quickly?

I am fairly slender, (5' 2, 95 lbs) and fairly healthy but I have gained a pocket of fat on my stomach. it is very visible, even through shirts. of course, I have a swim party in a few weeks. how can I loose it fast? Well here's the thing about exercise and diet, and this applies a lot to stomach fat as well, is that diet is extremely important for belly fat and belly muscles. Ever heard of the six pack term "it starts in the kitchen not the gym?" Now you might be asking yourself I'm not looking to build a six pack, and although that might be true still know that in order to gain a visible six pack without flexing you still in 5% or lower body fat. So in your case you are allowed to tone down on the exercising portion if you feel like. But anyone can do stomach workouts all day and it still won't make a difference if they eat like a bulking bodybuilder :)So my advice to get that maximum belly loss is to research on good diets, and simply do cardio. I'm a strong believer that cardio is the best way to lose fat unlike ab workouts because of the different levels of calories burning between the two. That can be accomplished by just any running machine you see at the gym. If you don't have a gym then I recommend jogging around the neighborhood. If you have a nice gym, and want to lose weight in a more exciting way, I recommend trying out zumba or crossfit. That's if you simply want to lose belly fat, I don't think you mentioned anything about getting toned but just in case you were wondering, add in oblique workouts using body weights ON TOP of cardio.
