How can I lose 20 pounds in a month while being healthy?

I am overweight and would really like to lose about 20 pounds. I would prefer to lose it as soon as possible, but it doesn't have to be a month, I just want to be healthy. Do you have any diets or workout plans that I should try? If so, please do, I would really appreciate it. And by the way, I'm a vegetarian.
