Am I burning enough calories in a day to lose weight?

So far I've lost about 18 pounds I believe. I am on a 2400 caloric diet. This is a decrease from what my caloric intake used to be. I drink nothing but water, I don't use salt, and I don't use extra sugar for anything. If I use a sweetener it is a tablespoon of honey. I have been counting my calories and I normally stay around 1500-1700 calories a day, and sometimes I will hit 1900. When I do my workouts I burn about 800-1000 calories in a day. YES, I know this is a lot of calories to born in a day, but I am obese, of course, and I work hard. I normally do 45 minutes of tae bo, 30 minutes of hip hop and and ill take a brisk walk at a 3.5 pace. When I put all of my information into my calorie counter (MyFitnessPal) it tells me that I've burned X amount of calories. If I want to lose at least a pound or 2 a week, am I doing the right thing? Should I increase my exercise? I don't want to lower my caloric intake because I feel that it's appropriate for my weight.
