How to Eat Carbs and Lose Weight
Recommended Answer:
Don't starve yourself. That'll effect your health worse than your weight will. I used to be 270 lbs and went through a depression that lasted about a year that wasn't even about my weight, but I was starving myself. Guess I just can't eat with something bothering me. I'm still like that every once in a while just not to an extreme. In that time, I went from that big to 140 lbs. Went from a size 24 to a 9/10 in jeans. But it came with anxiety attacks, hair loss, and a pacemaker with my heart to name a few. I still have anxiety and my pacemaker even though I've started eating a healthy diet. It's irreversible. I say keep playing Just Dance and eat a healthy diet. Maybe take up walking/jogging also. If you've lost 15 lbs in a month and a half that's awesome and something to be proud of. Lossing weight takes hard work and dedication. It doesn't happen over night. You can do it in a healthy way and get great results. Good luck. :-)Other Answers:
- Don't starve yourself! It's never the answer to losing weight
- Just eat right and exercise ,what your doing is fine and a good workout for your whole body .starving yourself will not help loose weight in some matters you can gain by not eating and will end up sick !
- You should eat at least 1000 calories sweetie. You are most likely burning more calories than you are consuming. Also, if you lose wright too fast, your body will probably be saggy. A healthy goal at the most is about 2 pounds a week. Eat a well balanced diet. If you don't want to cook, have a whey protein shake as a meal, but still make sure you eat your other meals! Don't EVER starve yourself. When you don't eat enough your body goes into starvation mode and that's when you begin to gain more weight. Trust ms, it's happened to me before. Make sure you get a good nights rest as well. I used to do just dance for an hour and I lost weight as well, it is a very good workout; especially for a heavier person.
- Don't starve. I've actually heard that you actually gain more weight if you starve yourself. And you don't want to put your body through that. I suggest doing like exercise videos from YouTube.. I know you may be thinking "that's dumb" but I do it and it works perfectly! I really really reallyyy recommend the 'How to get great tones six pack abs/stomach workout!' And pick one from there! And walla < or however you spell it.. You've got yourself an exercise routine!
- Don't starve yourself. It doesn't work. Try this: go into a pool and just float. If your tummy floats to the top not your feet, then you need more protein and less carbs. If your feet are at the surface then you need less protein and more carbs. Hope this helps! And ya the dance game is good!
- Your body enters survival mode where it will be holding onto as much fat store as possible and creating more when it can by starving yourself like that... don't you see, apart from being extremely unhealthy your also fighting nature and it will fight back. It's a natural response for the body: food isn't enough, hold onto it more to survive the days. You end up with a bounce back effect, adding more fat on in the long run. Also, losing weight is as good as your think it is and it isn't pretty... it's actually a bad thing, you should be maintaining a healthy weight. Muscle weights more than fat. Water which makes up 80% of your body also adds to weight, so diets just remove that water and leave you dehydrated. You should increase focus on your B.M.I (Body Mass Index), how much fat there is compared to body and muscle. Plus, work on increasing your metabolism! You don't eat less, you actually eat regularly 3-5 meals a day. Have about 1600-1800 calories a day with 1 1/2 hours of exercise. The more you exercise, the more you will actually need to eat to refuel - just make sure it's the good stuff. It's what you eat which makes all the difference.Any "white" foods decrease the metabolism, so white rice, pastries, white bread, flour, etc, limit them. Eat whole grain breads, etc, instead. Avoid cakes, junk food, etc.Limit sugary foods and drinks, alcohol, caffeine and not to smoke. If chocolate or any certain food is a food addiction (which makes you want to eat a lot), then reduce it or remove it from your diet.Eat breakfast! Your body has been deprived of food throughout the night, therefore your metabolism has slowed. You don't want to stave the body with diets, etc. Instead have smaller healther meals 5 to 7 times a day.Choosing healthy foods, such as lean protein and vegetables, can actually increase your metabolism as well. The best foods to increase your metabolism and help you lose weight are fish, lean meats (best is venison) dark green leafy vegetables, tomatoes, blueberries and other fruits, whole grains, and about 8 glasses of water a day (don't over do the water but having it per meal can really help). You can jump-start a sluggish metabolism through exercise. That's why most kids seem to have great metabolisms, because they are running up the walls, playing and active all the time.Working out and gaining muscle is a lot of hard work but also helps a lot. Muscle burns fat! Your'll never see a muscley fat guy or girl.Eat a certain amount of protein, dairy, fruits, vegetables, carbs, even a bit of fat per day. Then match your exercise off to how much you eat.The basal metabolic rate(BMR) is the rate your body uses energy for vital body processes.
