How do you stop hair loss due to deficiencies?

My mother is convinced that the reason I'm losing A LOT of hair as of recently (and I mean a lot...but not in clumps or anything) is because of deficiencies. I'm a vegetarian, and even as that, I don't eat as well as I should (I skip a lot of meals, don't always eat enough fruit and veggies, and lack a lot of stuff in my diet)Since the beginning of summer i've been trying to lose weight, and I've been losing more and more hair.I'm going to the doctor in a week to do a blood panel and see which deficiencies I have. I'll probably have an iron and protein deficiency, and some other vitamins i'm sure. By taking supplements in case I have those deficiencies, will the hair loss stop?Or what do I need to do to stop the hair loss? and how long will it take?

Recommended Answer:

IF it is because of nutrient deficiency then yes, after replacing what you need you should see the hair loss begin to slow down and eventually stop. It could take up to 6 months. As a vegetarian it is SO important to ensure you are getting enough nutrients! Good luck.

Have enough of that and what you need for cell regeneration. That would be what you've learned in school. Your mdr of essential and trace vitamins and minerals from the primary source, vegetables, fruit, whole grains, nuts, seeds and beans. Have fish three times a week.
