I'm 16 and I'm a female. I've been working out at the gym for a couple months now and gained a little muscle but I want to get a little more. I'm veryyyy skinny so I wanted to get a little meat on my bones lol. School starts now in August and I really want to be a little bigger and get my abs already ! I also wanted to gain a little more flexibly to join something at school that requires it. I also wanted other point of views on my fitness plan that I believe is good. Heres my fitness plan I've been doing for months:Mondays I do total body. Tuesday,Thursday,Saturday I do lower body. Wednesday,Friday,Sunday I do upper body. And on this workouts I do 3 sets of 15,10,5 reps. With a 10 minute cardio run everyday and I only do yoga once in a while. And I drink shakes right after I workout. What can I do to gain more muscle and flexibility ? Thanks for your help :)

First, you have to keep this idea in your head at all times, building muscle will take time. A LOT of time! I've never ran a routine like that, but if it's working for you, don't change it now. But, I would recommend the cardio, change it to something a little less intensive. Do brisk walking instead for 10-20 minutes, that way you wont hinder muscle growth. Second, for muscle growth, eat more food! Now, I am a guy, but what did to gain weight fairly quickly was a program called Stronglifts.That program made me gain about 30lbs in a year, mostly muscle, coupled with eating a lot. I highly recommend this, but if your routine is working, stick with it. Just be sure to eat enough, keep cardio light, and stick to yoga for flexibility. Also, stretch after your workouts
