How can a 13 year old lose 60-70 pounds in a year?

Hi i'm 13 years old and i'm trying to lose about 60-70 pounds in a year because i'm obese, last time I weighed my self I was 174 pounds. I've tried different things from exercising, eating less calories, and eating fruits and vegetables but nothing has really work out well for me. So what i'm seeing for you guys to tell me is what I can eat each day, the amount of calories to eat in a day, how to exercise, and some few tricks in how to lose weight. Please hurry! Thanks guys.

I had the same problem to back in middle school, it's tough to do, but it will all pay off in the end bro. First when u run, run for at least 30 minutes a day. Run for 20 minutes and your body will start to burn far, so 30 minute run means 10 minutes of burring fat. Your a kid so don't worry about what u eat to much, just make sure u have a total calorie loss meaning eat less then 2000 calories a day. Try asking your mom or dad to make cabbage soup for lunch or dinner that'll shred fat. When ever u feel hungry eat fruits and drink water. Drink tons of water. Also run in the mornings and the evenings. That is what I did son and I lost 30 pounds in 1 month

  • You honestly shouldn't reflect on your weight at such a young age. I'm 14, and weigh 152-154 pounds. But if you really want to lose that much weight.. (I don't recommend it) Work out more, and select smaller portions. But I don't think you should.. :(
  • You are doing everything right, low calories, exercise and more fruits and vegetables.1. When u decide about food, enlist the things which you shouldn't eat instead of things you should eat. There is a huge list of things which you can eat, which makes it difficult to make a list, but there are very limited ingredients which you should avoid, like cream, too much butter, too much cheese and above all, Sugar!! So eat normal food, but eliminate such ingredients.2. Have Green Tea (Without sugar) everyday in the evening to boost your efforts, it will improve your metabolism to help you reduce weight faster.
