I'm 16 about to turn 17 and I weigh 145 pounds and by November or December I want to weigh about 120. I'm just at 5' tall so I think that would be a healthy weight for me.I don't really have the option of running or walking since I always have to stay home during the day. What are some good exersices to do daily and a good diet to eat? I'm not looking to starve myself or to go on some kind of crazy unhealthy diet.
How to Lose Weight Without Cardio

Not being able to walk or run is difficult and it will be much harder. Even if you only go walking or running on the weekend for 30-45 minutes on Sat and 30-45 minutes on Sun it will eb good. Try to get out and run for 15 minutes per day- I am sure you can find some time to do that. And then on weekends find the time to do 30 minutes each day- even if you need to get up an extra 30 minutes early to do so, it is essential for your weight loss goal and overall health. At home - I suggest setting aside 20 minutes in the morning, 20 minutes in the afternoon and 20 minutes at night and do a dance video craze. Crank up your favorite CD and just dance, dance and dance for 20 minutes non stop and constant moving. Wear a sweatshirt and pants when you do this that way you sweat more.At home - also every day (night or morning) do some light toning- lifting your legs up while keeping your body flat on the ground, lunges, sit ups and arm raises- do 3 sets of 30 for each.Drink plenty of water- limit your soda, juices, coffee and other caloric drinks to 1 cup per day. Drink 6 cups of water daily and then 1 cup of something else- whatever- soda, juice, coffee, snapple.- but make sure it's 8 oz. not 16 oz.Eating- don't restrict or elimiate any food group. Include them all but in moderation. Here are few good ideas for each meal. (In the beginning have 3 meals and 2 snacks- then slowly start to elimiate your snacks and have smaller portions of your meals so you continue to lose weight- and when you hit your goal weight slowly add larger portions to help maintain your new size)Breakfast Ideas(1) scrambled eggs, whole wheat toast, 1/2 grapefruit(2) 6 oz. non fat Greek yogurt, 3/4 cup of low fat granola cereal, 1 banana(3) 1 cup of almond milk, 1 cup of cereal, 6 strawberries(4) oatmeal, made w. water, 1 cup of blueberries(5) 1 cup of fruit salad, 1 cup of fat free cottage cheese(6) whole wheat bagel, 2 tbsp. peanut butter, appleLunch Ideas:turkey or tuna or egg salad or hummus or cheese or peanut butter/jelly sandwichraw veggies, ranch dressing (fat free)fresh fruitDinner Ideaswhatever your mom/dad makes Snack Ideasfresh fruitsfresh/raw veggiesalmonds, peanuts, cashews, brazil nutsstring cheesenon fat yogurtkashi protein bars/balance protein bars

- you can't healthily
- Count yout calories and calculate how much you should be eating per day (via a calorie calculator). You need to exercise at least some. And yes you CAN in about 4-5 months healthily. I lost 43 in 6 months. I didn't starve. I ate healthily, and the amount I needed to, and I exercised every couple of days.
- 126 is your ideal weight. Workout one hour a day and joga in the morning. Start eating grains wheat fruits and veggies. Consume only 1200 calories. Have 4 meals a day 300 calories each and small meals:) don't snack
- If u have an iPod, iPad, iPhone, or something like that, then I reccamend an app called Lose It. This app helps you lose weight and/or get muscles. You r practically eatting the right amout of food/calories that u need without starving yourself. Also u should try some workouts such as P90X. Don't over exercise and stay hydrated. Take breaks when you need to but don't cheat. All you need is an hour or so of exercising. Hope this helps :)
- If you have internet you can try a workout on youtube..That's what I do and it's effective. I count calories too I lost almost 50 lbs
- Wth do not have 1200 calories ! Go on a raw vegan diet, all fruits and veggies, and eat up to 2500 calories of fruit and veggies a day. Your ideal weight is about 100-110lb i weigh about 119lb at 5'6" and i still have some extra fat.
- I recommend that instead of trying to diet, to change your whole lifestyle around. Otherwise you will gain the weight you take off if you do a fad diet. What I do everyday is I wake up at 5, take a 30min-1hour jog, and eat a high protein breakfast, 1 piece of whole wheat toast, 2 hardboiled eggs, greek yogurt, a glass of milk, and a fruit and veggie smoothie (kale, cucumber, lemon, ginger, spinach, pineapple, and berries). I go to work at 8, and at 10-10:30 i eat a small snack. like a granola bar, a small piece of fruit, etc. lunch time i usually eat a salad with lean meat, like chicken breast, or a piece of fish with lots of veggies, and maybe some hummus. Hummus is a great food with lots of protein! And after work, which is 3 o'clock, I have another snack, maybe the rest of the fruit from the morning, or another granola bar. after that i do a cardio routine! I recommend the fat melter from http://www.blogilates.com. She has more great videos, lots of pilates ones and body focus videos. For dinner i eat small, just a bowl full of steamed veggies and some tofu or fish. you want to eat most of your calories in the morning and less at night. I go by the korean saying "breakfast like a queen, lunch like a commoner, and dinner like a pauper" its healthier to have all of your calories in the morning so you don't sleep with too much undigested food. I like to walk places as much as I can for the exercise. I walk to work if it is nice out, and I walk or bike to get groceries :) Plus walking saves the earth!
- I'm done with my weight loss journey and completely happy with how I feel and how I look right now however losing weight is a challenge for anyone and even losing 5 pounds and keeping it off isn't an easy task. Also I bet you didn't know that 5 pounds of fat is about the size of 8 cheese burgers? That alone should be enough to make anyone want to get on the ball and start a change for the better. Weight loss can be really easy to learn but the problem is nobody wants to put the required effort that is needed to actually do it, instead people continually look for (easy) ways to do it. If there was an easy way to lose weight I don't think 35% of Americans would be obese. There was a time when I also wanted to lose weight and was tired of starting diets only to lose motivation and give up just a few weeks later after seeing no results. However, let me tell you it is literally one of the easiest things you will ever learn once you find a good and reputable place to learn it from and I say that only because the world is filled with magic diet pills, liquid flush diets and a thousand other quick fixes that promise xx pounds of weight loss in the first week and even though it is impossible they know you're going to do it because your desperate. I have probably tried every diet pill, liquid flush diet, and ab rocket machine known to man and have had no success with any of them nor do I know anyone that has ever had any success with them. I have also tried starving myself which works very well for the first few weeks' right before your metabolism comes to a complete stop and eating just the tiny bit makes you gain weight and you end up weighing more than you did before you started starving yourself. Companies promote weight loss to make money not to get people healthy again and that's because they know you're not going to be a customer and buy their products if you're no longer fat. http://fatloossfactor.com is a site I want you to go to when you have 10 or 20 minutes to spare and I want you to sit down and watch his video on weight loss. He helps people every day to lose weight I have never seen someone as committed as him and that will go so far out of his way to help someone. His weight loss program is one of the best I have ever had the enjoyment of doing and it is without doubt the best success I have ever had with any weight loss program. I also couldn't be happier with my body right now and I have never felt this wonderful in my whole life. In the end you just got to remember to stick with it and stay confident in yourself and in no time you can achieve the results you have always wanted. It's not hard to lose weight but most people have a hard time staying motivated and 9 times out of 10 it was because they weren't really committed from the beginning. Anyways I hope I helped you and I hope you make the commitment to change your body and life. Remember it's not easy to take the first step but you did, you're here right now taking it and the rest of the steps will fall into place. Have a wonderful day.
