Best Way To Lose Weight

First of all, you have to eat more than 900 calories a day. Unless you''re eating all red meat (dont do that, btw) then you probably aren''t getting as much protein as your body needs to actually build up any muscle from bodybuilding. A bodybuilder can eat thousands of calories a day (my dad bodybuilds) and even though you are only doing this three days a week you need more food. I would go for 1500 at least. And I don''t know what you''re eating, but in order to get enough protein you should be eating white meats such as chicken and tuna with vegetables, small portions of beans and nuts, and fruit is okay in the morning. It''s best if all of this is organic, no preservatives, additives, etc.

Nice job on your exercise though, I would reccomend though that on some days you only run, or only body build, then you will get in more days of the week and your body will be working some different muscles every other day and giving some a little recovery time.

Don''t get sucked into the "protein bar" crap, most all of those are just very processed, high calorie candy bars with added protein, it would be better if you took two extra minutes to open a can of tuna and ate that instead.

You wanted to know how long it will take. This was a big problem question for me, but as soon as I stopped asking myself this question I had better results because it changed my attitude. It really shouldn''t make any difference how long it will take, just because it takes a long time to look the way you''ve dreamed of looking doesn''t mean you can''t get there. There really is no surefire way to say how long, but probably months. This shouldn''t discourage you though, for example, I know that at the beginning of this summer, I probably won''t look perfect, but that doesn''t mean I should sacrifice all of the summers after where I could! The reason so many people do not look the way they want it because they put unrealistic time restrictions on their goals and they don''t focus on their commitment and what will be the final product.

And don''t focus in the scale, if you build muscle and drop fat you will weigh more, because muscle weighs more than fat. What has happened to me is once I started exercising strength and cardio almost every day I gained a lot of weight according to the scale, but I didn''t give up and quit. I stayed about the same weight for a while, but then I started loosing weight, the fat weight. It takes time, but you can do it if you don''t give up. Good luck!

  • Why are you bothering to body build when you''re way undereating? You''re going to lose lean muscle on that amount of cals regardless of body building. You should only be eating -20% TDEE.

Bodybuilders DO NOT drop to that low of an intake because they know they will be sacrificing lean muscle over fat.
