Well losing weight does take time but I can definitely steer you in the right direction. If you want to lose weight, your diet has to be in order. Steer away from processed food.

That includes all junk food like chips, cookies and even soda pop. Only drink water! With the exception of maybe 1 cup of skim milk, no other calories should come from beverages period! You need to eat more lean protein such as chicken, turkey, lean beef, egg whites, fish, cottage cheese etc. You also should eat a lot of green veggies.

Green veggies should be the main staple in your diet for your carb source. Stay away from white refined enriched carbs like white rice, regular pasta. You can get in whole grains but taper those off on non workout days.

Speaking of workouts, cardio and lifting weights is optimal. A half hour for each exercise 3 to 4 times a week will suffice. I hope that was helpful. If you want more personal assistance, i''d be willing to help you along the way. Also, check out my link/video below for extra tips on losing weight once and for all!

  • Find out if you need to lose or gain weight. Check your BMI here:
    http://nhlbisupport.com/bmi/bminojs.htm

If you need to lose or gain weight,
    1) download an app for you computer, tablet, or phone that will help you record the calories you eat and burn from exercise. I use an app called "Lose it!"
    Then
    2) check to see how many calories you burn just living, here:
    http://walking.about.com/cs/calories/l/blcalcalc.htm

Now compare the two. If you need to gain weight, according to your current BMI, then you need to eat more calories than you burn. If you need to lose weight, then you need to burn more calories than you eat. A pound is equal to 3500 calories.

If you''re at a healthy BMI, your perfect!
  • Learn to eat only enough until you''re full (i found that this helps greatly) eat lots of fiber (fiber tends to take some fat with it when you excrete waste), don''t ever wait until you''re starved to eat because you''ll over eat when you finally do, drink enough water everyday, eat lots of fruits and vegetables...
