How to Lose Stomach Weight Fast

I recommend that instead of trying to diet, to change your whole lifestyle around. Otherwise you will gain the weight you take off if you do a fad diet. What I do everyday is I wake up at 5, take a 30min-1hour jog, and eat a high protein breakfast, 1 piece of whole wheat toast, 2 hardboiled eggs, greek yogurt, a glass of milk, and a fruit and veggie smoothie (kale, cucumber, lemon, ginger, spinach, pineapple, and berries). I go to work at 8, and at 10-10:30 i eat a small snack. like a granola bar, a small piece of fruit, etc. lunch time i usually eat a salad with lean meat, like chicken breast, or a piece of fish with lots of veggies, and maybe some hummus. Hummus is a great food with lots of protein! And after work, which is 3 o'clock, I have another snack, maybe the rest of the fruit from the morning, or another granola bar. and for dinner i eat small, just a bowl full of steamed veggies and some tofu or fish. you want to eat most of your calories in the morning and less at night. I go by the korean saying "breakfast like a queen, lunch like a commoner, and dinner like a pauper" its healthier to have all of your calories in the morning so you don't sleep with too much undigested food. I like to walk places as much as I can for the exercise. I walk to work if it is nice out, and I walk or bike to get groceries :) Plus walking saves the earth! When I want more exersize I watch videos from http://www.blogilates.com/ because she has some great body focus videos and it can really tone your body. Also, after a workout make sure you stretch so your muscles don't bulk up and you get the nice long lean toned muscle look.

  • I'm in the same situation. I'm extremely short 4'11 so losing weight/keeping it off is so hard. I weighed 137.8lbs. The doctors refused to give me diet pills. So I TRIED EVERY diet. Atkins, south beach, 500calories, smoothie diet ect .. they all worked but were way to hard to stay on so the weight came back almost instantly. I tried a diet that involved eating sandwiches and soup. Its working really well! These are my last 25 lbs I'm trying to lose. They're exposed to be the hardest to lose but not with this diet. Just eat a sandwich for breakfast a sandwich for lunch and a cup of soup for dinner. If you get hungry inbetween eat a bannana or a cup of fruit. I've been eating grilled cheese, tuna sandwich, and brocolli and cheese soup with a bowl of pineapple at night. Try to drink lots of water. I use crystal light in my water since I think waters gross. I've been on it for a week and have lost 5 lbs. Try it! Good luck

How much weight can i lose in 2 months? wanting to tone up?

I am very good at procrastinating, so of course I''ve waited until the last months before summer to get in shape. I am a Female at 5''6 and 137 pounds. I''m not overweight but I definitely have some "flab" I want to get rid of. My question is how much weight could I lose in two months (for someone my size) ? I do about 2 hours of cardio 5 times a week, and I have been eating healthier. My main problem area is my stomach, what are the best exercises/food for weight loss in that area? Thank you, any other advice is welcome!

The Oprah Paradox - Why is Losing Weight So Hard, Even For Oprah?

The best way to loose weight is gradually so you won''t be as likely to put it back on. It sounds like you only need (or want) o loose about 5-10 pounds which is most definitely doable in a period of two months! Remember:
1) the weight is not going to come off overnight
2) eat clean for 6 days of the week and treat yourself on the 7th. well, you don''t need to do this but it works for a lot of people :-)
3) by ''eating clean'' I don''t mean just salads or whatever. Don''t believe those ''dont eat carbs after lunch'' things etc., eat a big breakfast of something like muesli, fruit and a slice of toast with fat free peanut butter or jam - a medium lunch of fish or chicken with salad, and a tiny dinner of pasta, fish (not if you''ve eaten it for lunch lol), low fat curry. Of course these are just suggestions :-)
4) exercise regulary! As often as you can. I know its hard, im a procrastinator too, but do it whenever you have time. Running and cycling are the two that work best for me, but I also like going to the gym - treadmill, cycling machine, rowing machine, eliptical. Check out pop pilates on YouTube, the girl that does it is awesome.
5) never ever give up. No matter how hard it gets. OH, and weigh yourself in the morning after you''ve got up so water bloating etc. aren''t an issue.

16 Reasons to Lose Weight

Recommended Answer:
When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together.
If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, which
will lead to increase of weight, or muscle grow
underneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet without
exercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. For
diet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food
after 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on
your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If
you don''t eat wheat then you don''t eat all those sticky, fatty goey
cakes, you don''t eat junk food, and you don''t eat biscuits. But your
diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to
calculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising,
start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is the
most efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight a
lot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack,
disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to target
your problem areas for men and women. It''s not necessarily to become a
bodybuilder or even join a gym - a couple of dumbbells will help you
to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

  • Work out 30 minutes everyday and cut out all soda, high fat foods and honestly eating salad every meal isn''t the best, still eat meat but make sure all of fruits for energy and veggies too, don''t try weight loss pills also make sure to keep your metabolism up but eating regularly and almost the same time every single day, run more than weight lift if you work out because if you weight lift you will just grow muscle mass and actually gain weight, it''s not a bad thing but if your focused of loosing weight and that''s it it''s prolly best to run
  • hydroxycut baby! You know what food to eat. If it comes in a package don''t eat it. Fruit, veggies, lean meat (fish, turkey, skinless poultry) legumes...mmmm! water, water,water...try to avoid other liquids. Drink it ice cold, trust me. Exercise---> I prefer sprints bc it burns fat like a mofo, or 30 mins of cardio but that also burns a lot more muscle compared to sprints, resistance training. I also lift 5x a week. Chest/tris, back and bis, shoulders, legs, another back and bi day. (only been going hard on back and bi''s bc i want bigger). 45 mins is sufficient, but I feel it isn''t enough. Usually takes an hour and half b4 i''m done lifting. But train hard and you will be happy with your results. I been taking hydroxycut bc I wanna burn the excess fat. It''s great but not necessary. I''ve gone from 205->195 in 18 days my clothes are fitting a lot better and i have maintained my str. But my diet has changed completly so it isn''t a substitute so you can eat trashy.
  • exercise at least an hour a day. it doesn''t have to be hard core, just simple walking on a track will do. a combination of aerobics and muscle training is ideal. also, try to eat many whole foods, and have healthy alternatives when craving things. (honey, blueberries, bananas, etc.) and, maybe most importantly, drink A LOT of water(not enough to drown, though...) and don''t try to lose the weight too fast. that can bite back in the future.

    hope this helps. : )
