Special Foods to Eat to Lose Weight

Everyone knows the keys to losing weight: Eat less and exercise more.
The following basic guidelines are what you need to know to construct a healthy diet.

1 Eat plenty of high-fiber foods—that is, fruits, vegetables, beans, and whole grains. These are the “good” carbohydrates—nutritious, filling, and relatively low in calories. They should supply the 20 to 30 grams of dietary fiber you need each day, which slows the absorption of carbohydrates, so there’s less effect on insulin and blood sugar, and provides other health benefits as well. Such foods also provide important vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals (plant chemicals essential to good health).

2 Make sure to include green, orange, and yellow fruits and vegetables—such as broccoli, carrots, cantaloupe, and citrus fruits. The antioxidants and other nutrients in these foods may help protect against developing certain types of cancer and other diseases. Eat five or more servings a day.

3 Limit your intake of sugary foods, refined-grain products such as white bread, and salty snack foods. Sugar, our No.1 additive, is added to a vast array of foods. Just one daily 12-ounce can of soda (160 calories) can add up to 16 pounds over the course of a year. Many sugary foods are also high in fat, so they’re calorie-dense.

Wondering How To Lose Weight Quick?

Recommended Answer:
unless you are going on a MAJOR weight loss plan, otherwise this would probably make you pass out

  • No it sucks. Where's the protein?
  • Not at all. You need to eat somewhat like a normal person. That's not enough food. You're going to hurt your metabolism.
  • GOD BLESS U
  • i do 400 pushups and situps a day
  • It's awful!

No where near enough calories to start with. You need around 2,000 per day to EFFECTIVELY lose weight. If you starve yourself you can PERMANENTLY damage your metabolism.

You're also eating way too much sugar and not getting enough nutrients.

Whenever you eat anything that has "lite" or "light" in its name then it has LESS fat but MORE sugar. Go compare the nutrient panels of some yoghurts the next time you're at the supermarket and you'll see this is true.

Crackers get broken down by the body as glucose (sugar).

I'm not even going to comment on "honey nut chex cereal". Sheesh!

You should eat plenty of non-starchy vegetables - green beans, broccoli, brussel sprouts, cucumbers, lettuce, cauliflower, asparagus, carrots, kale, etc. Ten plus serves per day.

You should also eat adequate protein and good fats - grass fed meat, fish, eggs, cheeses, nuts & seeds.

You should NOT eat any sugars or starchy foods - potatoes, rice, bread, wheat, flour, pasta, etc. This is a totally DO NOT EAT.

You can slip in fruit occasionally, but no more than one per day.

If you can do this diet you can eat as much of it as you want. You're very unlikely to be able to eat too many calories. You will have an abundance of nutrients. And you will feel full and you will lose weight (fat) in the fastest way possible. Exercise is recommended but it is optional.
