From what your explaining it will take long and you need to do more than that. You should join a gym and get a personal trainer. You should workout at least for two hours and 7 days a week. cut down the calories and eating and drink fat free stuff. You should take classes yoga, spin, and body pump.I hope this helps I work out at a gym and so I know a lot about it.

How to Lose Weight Quickly Without Taking Pills

I'm done with my weight loss journey and completely happy with how I feel and how I look right now however losing weight is a challenge for anyone and even losing 5 pounds and keeping it off isn't an easy task. Also I bet you didn't know that 5 pounds of fat is about the size of 8 cheese burgers? That alone should be enough to make anyone want to get on the ball and start a change for the better. Weight loss can be really easy to learn but the problem is nobody wants to put the required effort that is needed to actually do it, instead people continually look for (easy) ways to do it. If there was an easy way to lose weight I don't think 35% of Americans would be obese. There was a time when I also wanted to lose weight and was tired of starting diets only to lose motivation and give up just a few weeks later after seeing no results. However, let me tell you it is literally one of the easiest things you will ever learn once you find a good and reputable place to learn it from and I say that only because the world is filled with magic diet pills, liquid flush diets and a thousand other quick fixes that promise xx pounds of weight loss in the first week and even though it is impossible they know you're going to do it because your desperate. I have probably tried every diet pill, liquid flush diet, and ab rocket machine known to man and have had no success with any of them nor do I know anyone that has ever had any success with them. I have also tried starving myself which works very well for the first few weeks' right before your metabolism comes to a complete stop and eating just the tiny bit makes you gain weight and you end up weighing more than you did before you started starving yourself. Companies promote weight loss to make money not to get people healthy again and that's because they know you're not going to be a customer and buy their products if you're no longer fat. http://fatloossfactor.com is a site I want you to go to when you have 10 or 20 minutes to spare and I want you to sit down and watch his video on weight loss. He helps people every day to lose weight I have never seen someone as committed as him and that will go so far out of his way to help someone. His weight loss program is one of the best I have ever had the enjoyment of doing and it is without doubt the best success I have ever had with any weight loss program. I also couldn't be happier with my body right now and I have never felt this wonderful in my whole life. In the end you just got to remember to stick with it and stay confident in yourself and in no time you can achieve the results you have always wanted. It's not hard to lose weight but most people have a hard time staying motivated and 9 times out of 10 it was because they weren't really committed from the beginning. Anyways I hope I helped you and I hope you make the commitment to change your body and life. Remember it's not easy to take the first step but you did, you're here right now taking it and the rest of the steps will fall into place. Have a wonderful day.

Is losing 30 pounds realistic for a 15 year old girl in a 3 month time span?

Alright, so lately I''ve been feeling more & more self conscience since starting my freshman year in high school. I''ve gone to a private school my whole life with only 8 kids, and now I go to a huge public school. I actively play basketball and tennis. Now I am 191 pounds & 5''11. I''ve always been heavier, and I''m willing to accept that I won''t be a size 0 or 2, but I''m concerned about my health. Not only that but next year I am going to be on Varsity Basketball and don''t want my weight to become an issue. Summer basketball starts June 27th and I''m really hoping I can shed some pounds. Does anyone have tips in which will help lose weight & help me jump higher?

(I''m looking for more specific diet plans, workout exercises, and tips.)
Thanks!

How to Lose Weight Fast: 14 Things You Can Do to Lose Weight Quickly!

Recommended Answer:
It is impossible to lose 22 pounds in 30 days. It will give you attest 3 months to lose all of that weight.

  • I think you should lose more like 40 lbs but yes, 10 lbs/mo is ideal. A good diet/exercise plan would be:

Breakfast: Cook 9-grain cereal (from health food store) in water with rolled oats and wheat bran. Make a big pot of it on weekends and scoop out 1/2 cup each morning. Add low fat milk, nuts and berries. Drink hot Ovaltine. Breakfast should be your largest meal of the day to raise blood sugar level which falls during the night.

Lunch: Egg, tuna or turkey ½ sandwich on whole grain bread with bean or alfalfa sprouts and yogurt w/fruit. If you had meat loaf for dinner, bring a meat loaf sandwich on whole grain bread (NO mayo). On cold days, a squatty thermos of hot chili, split peas with ham, or beef stew.

Snacks: Fresh (not canned) fruit: banana, orange, apple, kiwi, grapes, peach, nectarine, cherries, pineapple. No chips and nothing ever from a vending machine.

Dinner: salad with white meat chicken and fresh (not canned) veggies: tomatoes, 2 kinds of lettuce, 2 kinds of shredded cabbage, shredded or sliced carrots, alfalfa or bean sprouts, zucchini, green or red peppers, hard boiled eggs, brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, tofu, cottage cheese...Instead of dressing, squeeze 1/4 tomato over it.

Or homemade bean/vegetable soups; great way to recycle leftovers.
Or grilled fish with steamed veggies.

Or omelet: In blender, whip together eggs, tofu, cottage cheese, onions, garlic powder. Cook with mushrooms, chopped tomatoes and green or red peppers.

Foods to avoid: junk food, fast foods, pastries, desserts, sugar, salty foods, syrup (even canned fruit in syrup), peanut butter, fat/grease (pork, wieners, chops, bacon, salami, pizza, chips, fries), pasta, potatoes, white bread, rice, canned veggies, ice cream, soda, chips. And of course no tobacco or alcohol in any form. Both of those add wrinkles and destroy your brain. No oil except olive and mac nut. Coffee also rots your brain.

To keep your skin clear, drink water. Veg. juice is good too. But not canned juice (too much sugar.)

Join a gym; they have all the equipment and staff to show you how to use it to get the look you want to achieve. Much cheaper than buying your own equipment. Go hiking, biking, jogging, bowling, swimming...play tennis, badminton, volleyball, soccer..

If you lack energy to exercise, take Super B complex.
To lose weight, try an appetite suppressant.
  • Sure. But keep in mind, the more you lose the more weight loss slows down. Your BMR will lower and you won''t burn as many calories during exercise/activity. You may lose 10 lbs your first month, maybe 8-10 your next month, 5-8 your 3rd month and so on.

You can use sparkteens.com to track your calories, fitness and they provide optional healthy and balanced meal plans for people just getting starting. They also have fitness videos and a workout generator. An active community with on site dietitians/personal trainers. It''s a great site. I use their adult one and have lost 55 lbs in 7-8 months.

The Mediterranean diet is one of the healthiest and most approved diets out there.
  • Hey Hanna,

Alright so you have basically the whole summer to lose 30lbs. It''s VERY possible!

Exercise: take a 10-20 minute walk/jog every-other day, going a bit longer each time
and on the days your not walking do some simple stretches, lunges, push-ups, and crunches.

Diet: ok so your 15, you really don''t need a diet but more better food options
Smoothies are great! (just DO NOT add sugar) the fruits have enough sugars already trust me.
you could also try...salads...which I know are gross but if you add dressing their actually quite tasty.

and lastly watch how much your consuming If you exercise all the time but pig out during every meal you''ll never get anywhere. Hope this helped and Goodluck!

Working out, but waist is getting bigger?

I''m in decent shape as far as overall, but my stomach has never been the same since having my 2 kids. And at the gym I do a 30 minute workout on the elliptical (working up to 45), then strength training with the machines, not free weights, then do abs at the end. And after doing this and my diet staying the same, it seems my waist has actually gotten bigger! I can understand changing my diet to see even more results, but the fact that I went from not working out to working out and it seems I''m gaining fat/weight, doesn''t make sense to me. I know you gain muscle and so sometimes you can gain weight for that reason, but my stomach seems bigger and hangs over my jeans more. My jeans have never been this tight and I just don''t understand why. Also if anyone knows of any fairly easy, but effective ab exercises to help me, I would greatly appreciate any help there as well. Thanks in advance. :)

Tips for Losing Weight Fast - Burn the Fat or Eat the Muscle?

Recommended Answer:
Possibility 1: You are building up your abs but not losing fat at your waist. That would make your stomach increase in size.

Possibility 2: You are pushing your body into starvation mode and it''s refusing to give up the fat. It may even break down muscles to provide energy for your workouts but while it''s in starvation mode it''s storing as much fat as possible.

Possibility 3: You may be eating more than you were before. As you increase your exercise your body will start demanding more food. If you give it too much food, you aren''t having a calorie deficit and you won''t lose weight.

You should really look into your calories in (diet), just as much as your calories out (exercise). If you''re going to lose weight those need to be in sync with each other. I found that Sparkpeople.com was great at helping me get started with figuring out how much I needed to eat. I was an under eater and I was on starvation mode. Since getting my eating and exercising in sync (1 month) I''ve lost 12.8 lbs and 8.5 inches (2 of which were from my waist). People tell me they can see the difference in my body already.

If you want to be successful you have to exercise AND EAT RIGHT for your body''s needs.

  • All you got to do is if you really want to lose weight, well simply drink 12-15 glasses of water each day. DO NOT DRINK CARBONATED DRINKS, COFFEE, TEA and JUICES. Always eat fruits and vegetables. Do not eat spicy, salty, sweet and fatty food. Try these for 3 months.
I lose weight from 75 kilos to 62 kilos in 3 months. I am now on my 7th year and 4 months and maintaining my weight from 53 kilos to 54 kilos. But be sure to do at least, 20 sit ups per morning to make your muscles firm.
Have a nice day and GOD BLESS!!!!!
