Starbucks customers! Question for you.?

I'm writing a story with a Starbucksesque coffee shop so I just wanted to be accurate in this detail. Do they have menus like that you can hold? If someone was to sit outside and ask for a menu would a Starbucks employee have any?

No, they have boards behind the counter where all drink products are listed, and then the food items are on a refridgerated glass shelf but they have no menu for these. You have to go up to the counter to order, and then they make the drinks whilst you wait at the end. If you order a panini or some other food that requires heating they bring it over to you later. They do, however, have a small glass plated sheet of paper on the wall with all drinks and the calories in them, but nothing you can actually give to a customer.I know most of this wasn't in the question, I just wanted to give as much detail as possible!Good luck with your story, please do post a sample! minimum walking time?

I am a complete begginer at working out although i move a lot and run around at my job (I'm an outdoor preschool teacher) and walk long distances to and from work but I wanted to walk for a workout just now (I was alternating between jogging and walking) and after i felt it was forever i looked and it was just for 4 minutes and 33 seconds and i was completely out of breath so i stopped. is 4:33 that ok? will it be of any benefit? not necessarily weight loss? i want to gradually increase the time maybe tomorrow 5 minutes or something i don't know- help?

The rule of thumb is 150 minutes a week. If you can't do that right now, that's ok. Make that a goal. Another rule of thumb is to only increase your minutes, each week, by less than 10%. some people think 5% is optimum. I think you must have meant that you jogged for 4 minutes and were out of breath. That's ok. Try just jogging for 1 minute and then walking for 2 to start off with. oh, and try jogging slower. I'm aslo a big advocate for the "couch to 5K" program. Google it. It might be just the thing for you.

I have a hard time getting out of depression?..?

My life is sort of going ok now. I got full time job, things with parents are finally getting better.
But I have really hard time, getting out of depression
one thing goes bad and I go insane
I feel like I am in a balloon and the balloon is the depression and I cant break out of it and it just keeps stretching pulling me back.
Can someone help me please?
Also everyone is telling me to take pill etc..but I know I will get addicted and I will be dependent on it, I don''t want that..Can you help?

Okay, I understand. Depression is something that really ruins one''s happiness and ability to see the positivity of life. What I suggest is this:

- Are you being sociable? By that I mean, are you seeing friends all the time, going out with them, meeting new people, partying (possibly)? You begin to feel really isolated if you don''t see a lot of people and communicate with them, and this leads to the feeling of loneliness on both literal and emotional level. See people, arrange things with friends.

- You say you have a full time job. Does this entail slaving away in a room at a desk most of the time? Are you moving around constantly and on the go? If you aren''t, you NEED to change that. Start perhaps by going for walks in the morning or evening (or when you have time) in nature. This means near a river, out in the fields, amongst the trees etc. This will help you feel more in touch with your surroundings and give you peace. There is something very calming about the beauty of nature, and how it simply lives simply. It reminds us of how we should be.
Now, perhaps you should join a gym or sports class. Not to lose weight or anything like that, but to feel good. Exercise gives you those endorphins and keep positivity and wellbeing at a high. Boost those exercise levels and I promise you that you will feel much better.

- Are you sick of routine? Or do you thrive on it? It''s important to have a balance. The chaotic person ends up feeling lost at the end of the day many a time, and so does the routine-loving person when things just don''t go their way. Keep a good sleep routine where you go to bed early and wake up early, you will make the most of your day if you do this. - Relationships? Are they getting you down because they aren''t working? This is one of the things that —as hard as it is to do sometimes—you need to let go of. Change is a certainty. Similarity and familiarity is something you cannot depend on. Those people that leave you, let you down or make you feel bad are just parts of life, the obstacles. They don''t mean anything good if you don''t let them test you. They are challenges in life you need to overcome and move on from. You are worth loving, and you are the only person who knows how special you are completely, so don''t get sad over the people who didn''t try or failed to see that.
