How to Lose Weight Eating Fast Food

Recommended Answer:

try adding in healthy foods to your diet. this is helpful for many reasons. 1. they are usually low in calories. things like apples, oranges, fresh greens, carrots, bananas, strawberries are good to snack on. 2. lots of veggies will help you feel full and there for you will eat less. 3. they have less fat and will improve your overall health. this was an answer i just put in response to a different question, im just going to paste it bc its a lot of info. i'm sure it's been done before but it is not healthy and i do not recommend setting such a high goal. it is better to aim for 1 pound a week. so thats about 5 pounds per month and in 2 months you could lose 10 pounds. here's what you should do. 1. calculate your BMR. you can do that easily at this link and read more about your bmr and why it is important. (make sure you calculate it with your activity level.) http://www.webmd.com/diet/healthtool-metabolism-calculator2. create a deficient of 500 calories. you can do this by eating 500 calories less, by exercising or by both. but females should never eat less than 1200 calories on a daily basis and men should not eat below 1800 calories. try to replace unhealthy foods with more healthy, nutrient rich foods. this will help you lose weight faster along with improving the appearance of your skin, hair, nails. you will also feel much better! here is a link to show you what healthy eating looks like. but remember everything is ok in moderation! http://www.thegraciouspantry.com/clean-eating/3. follow a workout plan. as much or as little as you want but i good place to start is 3x a week for 30-60 minutes per work out. it is important to incorporate both strength training and cardio. that is pretty much it. how it works is when you have a deficit of 500 calories per day, that adds up to 3500 calories per week. that means your body is burning 3500 calories extra and will result in weight loss. i pound= 3500 calories so following a plan like this should result in losing about 1 pound per week. remember to get at least 7 hours of sleep and drink at least 60 ounces of water daily. these are both important components of weight loss as well. (side note: if you have never counted calories before. i do not recommend it. it is goof at first to get an idea of how much you are eating. but over time it is easy to become obsessed over calories, especially if you are rather young. remember to eat enough and eat well. you will see results) good luck!

  • Maybe you should have a taco party.
  • Sounds like you need some self discipline to get yourself out of the addiction of food..

Is this workout bad or good?

Im 14, turning 15. Im 5 feet tall and im aiming to lose weight. I have a very good diet at the moment, eating healthier and wisely and im planning out my exercise plan. I plan to workout 3-4 times a week with 30 minutes of running (beginning with 5 minutes of walking to warm up the muscles and then go a bit faster, i plan on having lean legs because thanks to sprinting alot i have gained some bulky muscle). After the cardio i plan on doing Blogilates for the next thirty minutes (Casey Ho is on youtube and ive been following it lately which helps). Shud i be doing cardio first or last? And is this enough? I know i will not lost weight in one place (like my legs) and i plan on losing weight healthy. So it would be a total of 1 hour workout.if you have any tips please do tell and please no harsh comments, thank you so much for helping :)

Most workouts are generally 60 minutes so it's good that you have that length of time. It's also good because the reccomended daily amount of exercise is 60 minutes as well. I have seen on many videos that if you do increasingly amounts of work for a few seconds and then go back to what you were doing it burns more weight. For example, If you jog for 60 seconds and then switch to 30 seconds of sprinting and then going back to the 60 seconds it is good for continuous workouts. In my opinion it seems like you have a decent workout.

Best way for a 17 year old boy to lose weight?? (10 points best answer)?

Ok.. I am 17, I am about 6 feet tall, and weigh about 230 lbs.I do a martial arts called Taekwondo, 2 to 3 times a week, where we work out (push ups, sit ups, ruining in place, and so on)And more than that, we obviously spar each other, and run laps around in the building, and do a lot of things that involve being physically fit.Anyways.. That's something that I think should help... But I haven't really lost.... Any weight at all... And I have done that for a little over 2 years......And I know there is much more to losing weight, than just working out lol....I also have a part time job... Where I help move things, and yes, I sweat a lot...So that's the work out, side of things...Yes, I eat a good deal... And I know I need to cut back.... Or something... Anyways.... What are some ways I can lose weight?I am aiming to lose 50 lbs by the end of this year, that would be a huge accomplishment for me!!Please some good advice! I will answer yours.

How to Lose Weight Fast With No Pills or Equipment

Well, first of all you're doing great with the Taekwondo. You might not see the results immediately, but keeping up an exercise routine in the long run is going to be a benefactor to your success. The first thing I'm going to recommend is the classic "check with your doctor for help" stuff. This way you can make sure there are no out of the ordinary reasons for you keeping on the weight. If you've already checked all of that out, I'd like to suggest a few habits that may help you that I try to do regularly.1.)Calculate your Calories you'll need to lose about 1-2 pounds a week. You can start doing that by simply writing down what you eat for a short while then adding up the calories online. Take that value, and subtract 500 from that. That is the amount of calories you should shoot to eat in one day. You can also use online calculators to find your average daily requirement. They all vary a little bit though.2.) Make sure you get enough protein after workouts. A cup of skim milk does the trick for building muscle if you are doing strength training and its low in calories. Go for a protein source rather than processed foods because it will help keep a control on your appetite. Try to eat things that don't mess with your blood sugar too much, like brown rice, whole wheat bread, beans, meat and vegetables. When your blood sugar is stable you'll feel better and be less hungry.I suggest you do research and make a healthy food shopping list for weight loss. In fact, you should do a lot of research on weightloss. Even just keeping it on your mind helps.3.) Drink green tea. I drink about three cups of tea a day (i reuse teabags, its cheaper.) Its fast to make, lowers appetite, raises your metabolism, and its extremely good for you.4.) Keep a diet journal. I wrote an article about this recently that you can read if you like. It goes into how I think the best way to track your diet is. This is like your lifeline to see your progress, changes you'll need to make along the way (like changing your habits more or calories if you plateau), and also motivation:http://voices.yahoo.com/how-keep-diet-journal-12250774.html?cat=55.) Watch your stress. Don't get mad at yourself if you mess up. Just keep on track with your goals and keep trying and trying again. You seem to have a busy schedule, so understand that stress does make it harder to lose weight. Try to take care of yourself mentally as well as physically.6.) Try HIT workouts. I have very little personal experience with this, but many experts can vouch for this type of workout. Its high intensity interval training.Check out Zuzka Light's body weight exercises. They are only 20 minutes and they are DAMN HARD. Trust me. http://www.youtube.com/user/ZuzkaLight (and she's hot! lol)Hope that helps.

  • its better if you focus on turning that fat into muscle instead of dieting and losing weight, so you should work out and lift weights and more.
  • ''What are some ways I can lose weight?''There is only one it's called calories deficit. Eat 1800 calories a day, get active a bit and yes you will lose weight.By the way a calorie is a calorie, you could eat 1800 calories of ice cream every day and still lose weight but for satiety and health reasons you should try to focus on protein (meat and eggs) and fibers (veggies, fruits, some cereals)
  • I'm the same way dude, but you say that you've been doing it for two years. It could be you aren't losing weight because the weight you have is muscle and you just need to tone it. But walking a mile or two a day will help, and you can eat the same stuff you do just smaller portions or you could eat like a lot of vegetables with chicken or meat with very little dairy or carbs. Hope this helps.
  • You might still grow taller, so don't try to lose 40. 30 is enough for now and you can lose that in just 3 months. Here's a good low-carb food/exercise plan:Breakfast: Cook 9-grain cereal (from health food store) in water with rolled oats and wheat bran. Make a pot of it on weekends and nuke 1/2 cup each morning. Then stir in low fat milk or yogurt, banana, walnuts and berries. Drink hot Ovaltine. Breakfast should be your largest meal of the day to raise blood sugar level which falls during the night.Lunch: Egg, tuna or turkey ½ sandwich on multi-grain (not just whole wheat) bread with bean or alfalfa sprouts, yogurt, fresh fruit. If you had meat loaf for dinner, bring a meat loaf sandwich on whole grain bread (NO mayo). On cold days, a squatty thermos of hot chili, split peas with ham, or beef stew.Snacks: Fresh (not canned) fruit. Nothing ever from a vending machine. Dinner: salad with white meat chicken and fresh (not canned) veggies: tomatoes, 2 kinds of lettuce, 2 kinds of shredded cabbage, shredded or sliced carrots, alfalfa or bean sprouts, zucchini, green or red peppers, hard boiled eggs, brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, tofu, cottage cheese...Instead of dressing, squeeze 1/4 tomato over it. Or homemade bean/vegetable soups; great way to recycle leftovers.Or grilled fish with steamed veggies.Or omelet: In blender, whip together eggs, tofu, cottage cheese, onions, garlic powder. Cook with mushrooms, chopped tomatoes and green or red peppers. Avoid junk food, fast foods, pastries, desserts, anything with sugar (cancer cells feed on sugar), gluten, syrup (even canned fruit in syrup), peanut butter, fat/grease (pork, wieners, chops, bacon, salami, pizza, chips, fries), pasta, potatoes, ramen, popcorn, white bread, rice, canned veggies, ice cream, soda, chips, tobacco, alcohol and coffee. No oil except olive and mac nut. To keep your skin clear, drink water, tea, unsweetened veggie and fruit juice. Join a gym; they have all the equipment and staff to show you how to use it to get the look you want to achieve, but you have to ask them. Much cheaper than buying your own equipment. Go hiking, biking, jogging, bowling, swimming, rowing, jump rope, play tennis, badminton, volleyball, soccer, jumping jacks, lift weights, trampoline? To tone your tummy, do sit ups, push ups, pull ups, leg lifts, butt raises and crunches. For more energy, take Super B complex.
  • Bro, with the help of watching Hodgetwins videos on youtube, doing Insanity and intermittent fasting were I would sometimes have 14-18 hour fast, and a 7-8 hour eating window. For example since it's the summer break for me I would have a eating window at around 12 - 8 P.M. (This won't mess up your metabolism.) Drink plenty of water, even before you eat to get you fuller. The only difference is that my breakfast is at 12:00 PM and I would still have my 3-4 meals. Every other week I would have a cheat meal. I was able to lost about 9 pounds in 3 weeks, right after I was done bulking since I weight lift. I'm also a pretty active/fit 16 years old. When school starts I won't be fasting anymore. And just have my typical eating hour in the morning, afternoon and the evening. Taekwondo is great for cardio, before when I was in martial arts, I slimmed pretty quick in Middle school after 6-8 months and I was eating a lot. I don't really focus on how much I weigh though, I would just look at the mirror to see if i progressed every week.
  • I'm done with my weight loss journey and completely happy with how I feel and how I look right now however losing weight is a challenge for anyone and even losing 5 pounds and keeping it off isn't an easy task. Also I bet you didn't know that 5 pounds of fat is about the size of 8 cheese burgers? That alone should be enough to make anyone want to get on the ball and start a change for the better. Weight loss can be really easy to learn but the problem is nobody wants to put the required effort that is needed to actually do it, instead people continually look for (easy) ways to do it. If there was an easy way to lose weight I don't think 35% of Americans would be obese. There was a time when I also wanted to lose weight and was tired of starting diets only to lose motivation and give up just a few weeks later after seeing no results. However, let me tell you it is literally one of the easiest things you will ever learn once you find a good and reputable place to learn it from and I say that only because the world is filled with magic diet pills, liquid flush diets and a thousand other quick fixes that promise xx pounds of weight loss in the first week and even though it is impossible they know you're going to do it because your desperate. I have probably tried every diet pill, liquid flush diet, and ab rocket machine known to man and have had no success with any of them nor do I know anyone that has ever had any success with them. I have also tried starving myself which works very well for the first few weeks' right before your metabolism comes to a complete stop and eating just the tiny bit makes you gain weight and you end up weighing more than you did before you started starving yourself. Companies promote weight loss to make money not to get people healthy again and that's because they know you're not going to be a customer and buy their products if you're no longer fat. http://fatloossfactor.com is a site I want you to go to when you have 10 or 20 minutes to spare and I want you to sit down and watch his video on weight loss. He helps people every day to lose weight I have never seen someone as committed as him and that will go so far out of his way to help someone. His weight loss program is one of the best I have ever had the enjoyment of doing and it is without doubt the best success I have ever had with any weight loss program. I also couldn't be happier with my body right now and I have never felt this wonderful in my whole life. In the end you just got to remember to stick with it and stay confident in yourself and in no time you can achieve the results you have always wanted. It's not hard to lose weight but most people have a hard time staying motivated and 9 times out of 10 it was because they weren't really committed from the beginning. Anyways I hope I helped you and I hope you make the commitment to change your body and life. Remember it's not easy to take the first step but you did, you're here right now taking it and the rest of the steps will fall into place. Have a wonderful day.
