I know a lot of people say it depends on the person and heredity and stuff like that, as well as certain conditions such as PCOS. Well I don't have any medical problems, and before I gained about 60 pounds I had little body hair and absolutely no facial hair. After I gained the weight my body hair increased and hair started growing on my chin and sideburn area. Like I said, I haven't had this problem before the weight gain. Will weight loss result in the body hair reducing considering what I just wrote? The only thing wrong was high testosterone levels which my doctor said came with the weight gain. I appreciate any help.
How to Lose Weight Without Exercising
Recommended Answer:
Higher testosterone levels will cause you to have more unwanted body hair. So if your doctor said that your weight gain caused the higher testosterone levels then losing weight may lower the testosterone levels and thus result in less body hair.
Other Answers:
- yes since skin is the largest organ in the body, if you decrease the mass then less follicles can grow.
- Not as far as I know, but unwanted hair loss reduces weight (slightly).
