Why did I get heavier/fatter (best answer 20 pts)?

I'm 5ft and I'm 56kg. (127 lbs) I'm on a diet and I'm trying to lose 5 kg in like, 3 months.I started eating really healthy, but if I had to have noodles, I would have half portion. I ate a lot of fruits, often snacks but really healthy snacks like Hawaiian Yam. I'm going on walks almost everyday after dinner. I'm drinking lots of water (in fact, i'm drinking one right now!).So today, I ate:Scrambled Eggs with Green OnionA Peach2 slices of MangoKiwiHalf of a YamHalf bowl of Kong Gook Su (Korean cold bean noodles)A YamAn AppleA boiled eggAnd that's pretty much what I ate today. I'm going to have dinner soon. Before using the restroom, I checked my weight. It read 57.1 KG!!! I freaked! All of this hardwork was nothing. My results were worse! I looked in the mirror, and found my arms sticking on because of the fat under my armpits. My stomach was bigger(not gas), and my face was bigger also. I used the restroom and checked again. It was 57.0KG. I was so...shocked!Can you tell me why, and give me some tips for a good diet? How can I lose 5KG in 2-3 Months? or even better, one month or 3 weeks? The 2nd word in Konggooksu (g...) got censored...um...well...i didn't mean it as a curse :/

How to Fast and Lose Weight Safely

Recommended Answer:

Your eating is not good...where's the protein??? There's a lot of carbs and other than a little egg, no protien and no green leafy veggies...and plenty of water (which you say you are drinking, so that's good)...The ideal diet is not fruit, noodles, and eggs...you need lean protein, veggies, healthy fats, and complex carbs also...calories around 1300 - 1500 a day....Exercise...some cardio to burn some fat, and lots of exercise with weights or resistance bands to build muscle and speed your metabolism...shoot for around an hour a day of exercise, at least 5 days a week...A couple of tips...weigh no more than 1x a day, and do it when you first wake up, after you pee, while naked...understand that your weight may fluctuate as much as 5 lbs from day to day, due to water weight gain/loss so don't trip out over a gain or not seeing a loss if you know you are eating right and being active...You can lose up to 3 lbs/wk in a healthy manner if you eat clean and exercise...just have patience and understand when you consume too few calories (which it appears you are doing) your metabolism slows, your body uses muscle tissue for fuel, and fat loss is very slow (if at all) but you may see a change in the scales...also, expect your weight to be higher near your period, when you are retaining fluid...

Other Answers:

  • I see your problem. You are eating too many fruits. Fruit is good for you, but they produce their own sugar. And you are not eating enough. Eat more veggies, drink more water, eat fruit but in moderation, and you need protein.
  • You are always skinnier in the morning right when you wake up, so no matter how little you eat during the day you will be heavier in the afternoon. You also should weigh yourself at the same time once a day to make it more accurate.
  • Girl you can do it, have vegetables and protien. Maybe do some exersize at home. You need to burn calories. Mornings have oatmeal and hard boiled eggs, snack with carrots or fruit. You can also make a shake from apples, carrots, grapes, orange, and water with ice. Dont starve yourself. Im 5ft. And weigh 157lbs and trying to lose this baby weight. I need to lose 20lbs at least. In one month you can do, if you are determined!
  • It's pointless to weigh yourself later in the day, after you've been drinking fluids and eating. You've got stuff in your guts weighing you down that hasn't been processed yet. You brag of drinking water, well do you realize 1 pint of water weights 1 pound? You drink a tall glass of water, you just gained a pound. But that's meaningless fluid weight.Weigh consistently 1st thing in the morning, or not at all. Your weight could easily vary by 3 or 4 pounds throughout the day in fluid and food mass, but that's meaningless.
