Is it bad to eat right before you sleep?

I've heard that it can make you gain weight, but I'm not really worried about that. Other than that are there any notable health effects to eating near your bedtime?Yes, I realize its more difficult to digest food when you are sleeping, but what exactly does this mean for your body? Some people even say that it causes hearing problems, but whatever...after you wake up when you had a bedtime eating, how nauseous you feel and how much overfull?
