Will I lose weight working in a hot warehouse lifting boxes?

I have been jogging every day this summer and have seen no weight loss. I will admit, I haven't changed my eating habits but I do not eat a lot of fried foods. Still, I did stop drinking beer every day but have not seen any difference in three months. I do not lift weights and am 200 lb female 5'7.I just started a job in a hot warehouse where I am on my feet for 5 hours straight. I am lifting boxes constantly, some up to 50 pounds, and am sweating nonstop. I would hope this will aide in my weight loss. Thoughts?

How to Lose Weight Quickly for Women Over 40

Recommended Answer:

Yes but nutrition is 75% of the effort when it comes to weight loss. It's all about the calories you take in vs the calories you take out... 3500 calories deficit = losing a pound of fat. Go on a 1500 calories/day diet, keep running and lifting those boxes (both burns a decent amount of calories) and you will shrink in no time.

Other Answers:

  • You need to burn more calories then you consume, that's the general rule. Burning 3500 calories, means losing one pound of fat.
