I'm trying to lose weight before school starts and I was wondering if any of the exercises I'm doing is helping at all. I just turned 17 a few months ago, my height is around 5 ft, and I weight 224.8lbsFirst, I'll jog in place for 15 minutes; once that is done, I'd do 200 arm rotations forward and backwards. Then I'd do 100 squats, and after that I'd do 50 crunches. Is there something else I need to add to my routine? And, I heard that you need to eat healthy, but the thing is, my family don't have much money. Everyone, but me (which is about to change), are working and bring money home, but we use mostly all of it to pay bills and car notes. My family can't buy anything healthy, or go to the gym, so we mostly eat fast food. We are all, besides my dad, overweight. When eating chicken, I usually get a thigh and a leg; when eating pizza, I usually get three slices; and when eating hot dogs, sandwiches, or burritos, I usually get two. What should I change in this eating habit? And I never go outside. I'm always in my room either watching TV or on my phone, or both. Last time I went to get my check up, my vitamin D level was 13. I'm thinking about sitting outside for a few hours and reading some books I got so I could get some sunlight, is this a good plan? My house has this little roof above the porch that blocks the Sun, but the sunlight still hits the edges; should I sit in the shades on the porch or on the edges of the porch where the Sun shines on?I also drink mostly water. I have this big water bottle and I refill it all the time whenever it gets empty. I've been doing this since last year in March after I had my GallBladder removed. Will my drinking lots of water 24/7 help in any way? Please and thank you for answering! :)
How to Prevent Hair Loss When Losing Weight
Recommended Answer:
Well the exercise is fine but in stead of jogging in place you need to jog up the block to get different climates to put your body through. I used to run laps around my block everyday for 3 months and lost up to 40lbs. Eat less. Only 1 or 2 pieses of pizza, 1 burrito, 1 sandwhich. 2 hot dogs i think are fine and drink plenty of water and maybe cranberry juice

- Try to eat standing up it is suppost or go out side more
- Hi Lady A,You're instincts are right, most people underestimate the value of proper nutrition to help them reach their fitness goals. There's an article below with some foods that are healthy that might surprise you.But the more important question you raised is, can you afford them?I included this source because there's a video at the bottom of the page from a holistic nutritionist who answers that very question. You're not the only one who feels that way. :)Add a brisk walk to your routine. It won't tire you out so that you can't do the rest of your workout, it will give you a little sun, and it's slow enough so that you have time to appreciate the beauty that's all around you.Hope this helps A
