Tips on how to lose weight healthily?

I'm a 17 year old female and I'm 5'11" (large body frame) and I'm overweight. I don't know how much I weigh exactly but I wear a size 16 pants and I'm unhealthy. Does anyone have any tips on how to lose weight?
