Lifting bigger weights but no visual results?

So I've been lifting 10 pounds for around two weeks and I've gotten a lot stronger I can lift more reps and I feel like I can do 15 pounds..but if I can do more, then why aren't there any visual results? I still look really skinny y does this happen and how do I get bigger? And yes I've been working out muscle groups other than my arms also.

You're getting stronger. But you're not gaining and VISIBLE muscle. It takes at least a month to start seeing changes. If you've ever heard of a strongman in bodybuilding. They're people who focus on only how much they can lift, and are careless of what they look like. That's what you're doing. You have to start doing methods on how to make it more visible. It will take a lot longer than a month to start seeing visible changes without flexing though. You will mostly just see more muscle when you flex instead of not flexing. Make sure you eat a lot of protein, and hey, maybe even some cardio once in a while will help. And make sure you're not working out everyday. If you workout everyday on the same muscle, you will actually lose muscle instead of gain.

  • Well I heard that when you first start working out, there are no visual results because there is a lair of fat on top of the muscle that needs to burn off first before there are any visual results.
  • Visual results take years, you have to eat a ton too
