Is it ok to drink milk only all day?

So I've been trying to gain weight lately because I'm underweight. So I've decided to drink about a gallon of milk each day. This technique is known as "GOMAD" where you drink a gallon of milk a day. I was wondering since I drink that much milk a day, do I need to drink any water? Also my pee been pretty clear for the past couple of days. I haven't been drinking much water or maybe no water at all, just milk. Are there any health risk of doing this? What are the pro's and con's?

But anything in excess can be unhealthy, and milk is no exception. Stop looking for a one-stop shopping solution. The key is to eat a balanced diet that will give you an appropriate number of calories to meet your energy needs without leaving a large excess supply. There's nothing balanced about a diet that includes drinking milk like it's water.

  • Its not good because then you bones can form calcium stones which are really painful and hard to take. Your body needs certain amounts of calcium each day, and you may be exceeding.   • First...Milk is an amazing thing. Studies have shown that human breast milk is the only substance that you would be perfectly fine to dink only it for the rest of your life. I know we are talking about cow milk but the two are very similar. Milk is all babies drink and it keeps they growing nice and strong. Second...If your pee is clear then that's a great sign. pea is meant to flush out all the bad stuff in your body and when it is clear that means that you have plenty of fluids to wash out your system. Third...If you are going to do GOMAD make sure you stay active! If you gain 25 pounds of fat then that is really bad! Milk is high in protein so it helps with muscle gain but only if you actually use your muscles.
