Is eating whole wheat sandwiches every day healthy to lose 20 pounds weighing at 160 pounds?

I eat 1 sandwich at breakfast, lunch and dinner. It has American cheese, ham and a cup of spinach. Its eating like this bad? I weight 161 pounds and I'm trying to lose 20 pounds by November the 4. I work out at least 1 hour a day in the stationary bike. I drink plenty of water. Please give me as much detailed information I would highly appreciate it.
