It is very simple to get to your desired body weight by limiting carbohydrates in your diet to 150 to no more than 200 per day. You will steadily lose body fat to a point. I would need to know your weight to tell you more but eating a lot fewer carbohydrates is a great place to start.I'm 17 years old, and I need to lose weight. I don't know where to start?

Okay, so like I said, I'm 17 and I need to lose weight. It's the summer, so I've been at home more which means that I'm eating more throughout the day. When I was younger, I was malnourished because I never ate. I started getting a little heavier (not much) when I was around 10, and I've just gained weight since then. I'm nowhere near morbidly obese, but I am overweight. I've been going out with friends more often, and we usually get fast food. I feel disgusted with myself lately for allowing myself to be so unhealthy. I need to lose around 25 pounds, and hopefully keep it off. I actually have an inground pool in my yard, and I've heard that swimming helps lose weight a lot. It's just that I have no motivation. I want to be skinny and have a healthy, active lifestyle but I just feel like I can't. My parents buy an equal amount of junk AND healthy food. They don't buy too much junk food, occasionally they'll buy some chips or cookies or something. We usually have more pretzels and granola bars than anything. They also buy Diet soda, but I rarely drink that. I usually drink Crystal Light iced tea or plain water. I want to be happy with my body and lose weight, not just to be happy, but I want to do it for my own good. I don't want to grow up and have to deal with all of that crap that comes along with being overweight. Any advice?
