How to tell my family to let me exercise alone?

Ive lost 50 pounds so far, but i need another 50 to reach my weight. My family is happy but they consistently want to join me for runs and jogs and what not, but they CANNOT keep up, and i want to blast music and such, and they comment on what i listen to and criticize.Put as nicely as possible, how do i basically tell them to F%&# off...? I know it sounds harsh, but i cant move if i see one of them pass me, or if i have to wait. They keep telling me im selfish. im only 20 if it makes any difference.Anyone here think im selfish or im entitled to loud music and solitude?

How to Help Your Dachshund Lose Weight

Recommended Answer:

Perhaps schedule one run a week with them, outside of your normal training sessions. You may have to go slow, but consider it an activity to do together instead of an exercise session. That way they won't feel brushed off or shunned, but they're also less likely to try to go on your normal runs or jogs. Congratulations on the weight loss, by the way

Other Answers:

  • Tell them to let you exercise alone
  • wow jerk...
  • No I get it tell them you like exercising alone because your able to go further, harder ect....tell them its your therapy and you like to have your alone time exercising I dont think its harsh I like exercising alone too
  • Tell them that you really appreciate all the support they are giving you but you would really like to exercise alone. If they seem upset/annoyed, tell them that you will try and make time for them a couple of times a week. You are not being selfish. Keep up the good work & enjoy the loud music :-)
