Good work on wanting to lose weight and get healthy. :-)3.5 kg to lose a week is a lot. Be careful, the quicker you lose weight the easier you put it back on apparently. I do think you are starving yourself a little. Put heaps more protein in that diet. Seeing as you are a vegetarian buy some protein powder online or at your local supplements shop. It is great for dieting and exercise. I drink Maxines burn, it is cheap, yum and makes me feel full also. Or try some Protein bars, I buy "Lo-carb" protein bars for women at the supermarket, they are very good for you and yum. And to answer your question about excess skin, that's where weights need to come in, cardio is great, but try lifting some weights too, it tones the body as you lose the weight. And is also good for weight loss too as it increases the heart rate. Just be sure not to lift very heavy weights, you don't want to bulk up like the blokes, you just want to tone it as you slim down. :-)Hope this helps and good luck with it all, you may feel ugly now, but the weight loss journey is fun and you will love your body in no time. I recommend taking photos each week, so at the end you can see the great results and hard work you did.Other Answers:
- your rate of losing weight is at a good pace but do NOT over do it and do not go over board. I do not know how much excess skin you are going to have because you have not put how much you weigh or how long how you are going to keep exercising and if you only have a little bit of excess skin you can use some stretch mark cream/oil to remove the look of stretch marks. hope this helps:)
- Losing 2 - 3 pounds a week is a healthy weight loss rate, you have the best chances for looking your best.
