How Many Miles Should I Bike Per Day To Lose Weight?

I have biked in the last 3 days 25 miles it only took 2.5 hours for those 3 days.How many miles should i bike to lose weight.Female 13 5'4 214lbs i can keep a steady speed of 8mph i also do 30 seconds of going as fast as i can bout 14mph once every 1/4 mile and i ride 1-3 miles per trip.Can i lose weight with this?How many miles do i need to bike everyday to lose weight i also eat 1300 calories per day.

you should be losing a few lbs a week just doing what you are doing.I quessing based on your activity,calorie intake and present weight.it's more important that you stick to an amount that you are willing to do every day rather than push yourself to do more than you want.I ride a bike or exercise bike almost every single day of the year. usually for 40 mins. because that is the amount I don't mind riding at one time. some times I do it several times a day. I just finished my second ride for the day. 40 mins is 10 miles for me and about 300 calories burned. my job is 5 miles away too and I sometimes ride my bike to work and back which is my 40min ride for the day too.just keep riding and you'll lose weight. do more if you feel like it and you'll just speed up your weight loss.
