Tennis season just started, I''m playing for Varsity...
Weather is getting warmer.. I can start riding my bike to school again (six miles, to and from home)
Don''t laugh, but, I play Just Dance vigorously.. it really does make you sweat.
And I plan on running either at nights or in the mornings, once I''ve eased into the above mentioned exercises and feel I have enough energy to do so.
And my diet will consist of portion control.. absolutely no junk or fast food, only water to drink, fruits and veggies to snack on.
So, is losing 30-50 pounds even doable? Will I gain it right back since it might be pushing it for losing so much in a little over 3 months? And and, it''s not as though I''ll be shoving cake and sodas down my throat after I''m done with the weight loss.. I''ll slowly ease myself back into a normal, balanced diet and lifestyle.
Wondering How To Lose Weight Quick?
Recommended Answer:
Hmmm ... probably not 50 if you are doing it safely, but you could probably lose 30 pounds safely.
If you lose weight quickly, then you''ll gain it back quickly. It is better to lose weight slowly, like maybe 1 to 2 pounds per week. At first, you might lose more, but by week three, you should be losing about 1 - 2 pounds per week, unless you are under supervision by a doctor.
So, in 100 days (which is about 14 weeks) - you should be able to lose somewhere between 15 to 30 pounds.
The key to losing weight and keeping it off, is to learn new eating and exercise habits. Losing weight more slowly helps you develop eating and exercise habits that can last you a lifetime.
Think of it this way - lets say you lose 25 pounds in 100 days. In another 100 days, you can lose the other 25 - and therefore you''ve lost your 50 pounds.
If you start soon, you could reach your goal before the beginning of the new year. But if you don''t, do not be discouraged; rarely is weight loss completely constant. As you lose weight, sometimes your body might "rest" for a two to three weeks - and plateau. Lots of people get discouraged at this point, but if you keep with it, then you''ll get past it. So, you might want to go ahead and give yourself 8 months (which is about 250 days) to lose the weight.
- Well... Anything''s possible..... But most people I''ve known who have lost weight so rapidly gain it right back.
- you should be able to do it.
- Okay. Well! If you lose 2lbs a week, for 14weeks, that''s about 100 days right? You''ll lose about 30lbs. (: So yes its doable. You''ll need to keep working out, and exercising though to make sure you don''t gain it all back. Congrats on losing the 50lbs already! That''s a big step. Just keep moving, eating good, drinking water, and keep positive!
- watch the documentry on netflix called "Fat, sick, and nearly dead" don''t let the title fool you, you don''t have to be fat, sick, or near death, but do what they did on the movie. I did it, i lost 52 lbs in a month and a half naturally and healthily. I think the movie is on youtube also.
