Would "INSANITY" workout help me lose weight quick. 17,291lbs,5`9?

Im pretty athletic for my size but at this point it taking a toll on my body and self esteem,and i would like to get around 180 quick.I have the money saved up so i can buy it and id like to know how well it work or some recomendations on how to lose weight quick,because ive never been thin and id like to be.Thanks!
