Weight/dieting help!?

I just turned 18 years old back in december. So one of my new years resolutions was to lose weight. I''ve been overweight ever since I was about 7. I currently weight about 240-250 pounds and I''m 5''6. By june, I want to lose at least 40 to 50 pounds. Exercising is a problem for me, I''m constantly busy. But i''m trying to solve that problem currently. Are there any eating habits i could take up? And when I find the time to work out, what are some exercises I could do? I''m really determined this time. Thanks in advance.

At that height and weight, 40-50 lbs by June just might happen. Maybe even more. Some of it will be water weight, but that''s fine. It comes off quicker when you have more of it to drop.

Busy happens. You can most definitely still eat healthy though. The catch? You usually have to give up taste. In my experience though, when you''re really committed, you don''t particularly care. Here is a video giving examples of such healthy meals:

This video discusses good vs bad cardio. I should note that cardio is not necessarily mandatory for weight loss, but it sure as heck helps. A caloric deficit is the most important thing though.

  • How about start with 2 weeks detox to get rid of all the toxin in your body first. The detox will help to curb your craving for food and make your diet more effective. Then start planning for your meal. Cut down on sugar and carb (potatoes, rice, fries, ) . Choose a healthier and balance meal of vegetable and meat. Combine this with a light exercise (squat or push up , 2 to 3 times a week) and you will be able to reach your goal. Good Luck!
