Is eating chocolate 2 times a month a good moderation?

Ex:
I last had about four squares of designer chocolate on my birthday being the 25th.
And today I had two pieces from a Godiva block: 100 cal.

I don''t plan on eating more chocolate until Valentine''s day, and then MAYBE the 31st again ( last day of the month indulgence plan apparently, haha )
It can''t hurt if my diet is typically healthy right?

Besides, all I had today was a few bowls of Kashi go lean cereal, a green apple, and a cup of coffee then those two squares of chocolate.

I hate to sound in any way judgemental about your diet here, but eating less doesn''t necessarily mean you''re eating healthy. If anything, it sounds to me like you''re really not eating enough, and if you''re genuinely planning out the dates you''ll allow yourself to indulge in certain eating habits, it sounds a little bit like you may have a slightly over-controlling attitude towards food... all I''m saying is keep an eye on that, because it sounds like you''re possibly a little bit obsessive about it, and that can easily lead to an eating disorder if you''re not careful.

If you really want to eat healthily, which will definitely help you lose and maintain a healthy weight, do some research on the food groups and how much fruit/veg/protein/carbs you should be getting per day. I have chocolate about once a week but I don''t see that as over indulgence, and some weeks I may even have small amounts almost every day. But I don''t worry about it, because diet is about nutrients not skinny vs fat.

Just take care of your body and it will take care of you. The rest is just details. :)

    There are a lot of factors that can affect your metabolism:
    1)Your physical activity (how many calories you burn)
    2)Your genes:some people get fat a lot harder than others just by their genes
    3)Stress and psychologic state
    And you seriously need to add proteins to your diet,not just foods high in fiber and carbs.
    Add a bit of chicken breast,or some tuna!
