I decided to go on a diet and it''s been 5 days since I started eating healthy and working out. I eat a rich breakfast (all bran with low fat milk and a yogurt) a good lunch and inbetween snacks, mosly fat free yogurt, low calorie bars, apples etch. i have drinking a lot of water and sugar free tea and avoiding food after 19.00. I have also been burning an average of 500 calories a day at the gym with cardio. i have lost 3 kgs in 5 days (my initial weight was 57.7 kgs and I;m 5''6''''). Isn''t it a bit too much? I was expecting 1.5 per week? Is this normal?

You most likely haven''t lost that much weight in fat at all.
Your body is just lighter due to less food being eaten, or you could have weighed yourself on an fool stomach before or you could be a little dehydrated and so on and so forth.
You usually won''t lose more weight than a kilo a week.
If you want to track your weight - weigh yourself at the same time every day/other day (or better yet, morning and evening)
