Okay, I want to know what''s going on with me. I''m 20 years old, and I weigh 150 but I''m also only 5''0 so obviously I''m overweight. When I was 16 I didn''t care much about my weight and so I didn''t try dieting or exercise. I did like walking so I would walk everyday around the block but I was a big soda lover and I was losing weight pretty fast. Late 2011 and early 2012 I had been working out and eating very healthy and I also stopped drinking soda and only drank water. I would work out every night for an hour or more and I''d walk or run around my block and in the 6 months I was doing that, I lost 10 pounds. But when I was not eating so good and drinking soda and only walking I lost at least 15 pounds in 3 months. I want to know what could be the cause of this?
10 Biggest Mistakes Made When Trying to Lose Weight
Recommended Answer:
Your metabolisms slowing down most likely
Many teens naturally have fast metabolisms to the point where they can eat till they are full and be hungry again in 2-3 hours.
The faster your metabolism is, the faster you go through calories. So the slower it is, the longer your body holds on to food.
What id reccomend is just start or continuing to drink water and jog on a daily basis, or any type of cardio excersize for that matter. All types of cardio burn calories quick while your doing them, and even after your done, speed up your metabolism for a couple of hours making you a calorie burning machine :)
